Very good description of everything. I've just recently found diamond painting club items and videos. I want to point out my observation. I've never had one from this club. I've never paid more then $15 for one myself from other places. There are only 4 differences I've see so far. The Dimond drills are very pretty however all of mine which have been extremely less expensive, the 4 little things that make these better are simply a sticker, washy tape, a cover minder and the possibility of having 1 or a few different drills that are special. I do not understand why these need to be so much more expensive? Yes some pretty drills but there is nothing here that makes the way less expensive ones I've done so different that it warrants the huge price gap. As a person that enjoys diamond paintings and have done at least 100 I would love to join a club like this, truly would except. I can't justify the cost of these when everyone aside from maybe 2% of the large amount I've done being just as nice and satisfying I simply could not afford to pay the club prices. Yes the little added touches are great, 100%. I just can't see the justification in these prices. This is just my thoughts and opinions.
The biggest difference is usually in licensing. Companies like DAC (plus several others like Bella Art Diamonds, Jaded Gem Shop, Dreamer Designs, Crystal Canvas Art Design, Craftibly, Munimade, Distracted by Diamonds to name just a few) all have licensing agreements with their artists. Their artists receive compensation for their work. A lot (not all) of art found on budget company websites is stolen. Artists niether gave their permission for their art to be used nor did they receive compensation for it. Like I said, this is not always the case, but it often is. I was gifted a painting that was adorable from AliExpress. I hunted down the artist (starting with a Google image search which eventually led me to her), and asked if she was aware this painting was being used for diamond art. She had no clue, and bc it was dealing with a giant company, she said she didn’t stand a chance of rectifying it. (She maybe would have. I have seen sellers remove items once they are called out on it. But, regardless, I can imagine the time and stress involved for a single artist to do this is overwhelming.) I do buy from and support budget companies bc I believe they have a place, but I am careful in what I select doing my due diligence to try and purchase items that are from the public domain. But I have messed up a time or two. It’s hard. People should be able to enjoy a hobby without going broke over it. Artists should not have to worry about their art being stolen. As for quality differences… there often are some (canvas and drill quality, hand rendered v computer only, resin v acrylic drills, etc.), but you are correct in that many budget kits are now often on par with the expensive ones. This is a relief to me. When I originally started this hobby in 2019 that was not the case! I hope this all makes sense. I really appreciate your insights. And happy diamond painting!
All of the kits are adorable, but I really like the last one. I had a black cat that I lost in April 2020. He was around 20 years old and I was crushed. Black cats are pretty special ❤ Also, I think E310 is glow in the dark 🙂
Ah! Thank you for the insight on the E310!! That is when we had to put Edgar down too. He was only 14, but it was amazing he lived that long. He had a number of health problems since he was a kitten. Black cats are indeed special. ❤️
I am not inclined to think so, because full price kits were readily available. I just happened to see for both of them that a "used" or "warehouse" kit was available for each of them. I am actually wondering if these were maybe returns??

Beautiful kits!
I think so too!
Great video...I had a black cat also we called her Velcro because she stuck the first time my husband picked her up and the name stuck as well...lol
That is such a cute story!
The E310 is glow in dark & the z is fairy dust 😉
Thank you! I did finally get “Fairy Dust,” but I was stumped on the “E” symbol!
Could it be the 2 warehouse kits were reduced because the pictures were not popular and not selling?
