I'm confused if you wanted a blue rug with tassels why not buy a blue rug and add the tassels???
Because her work is very therapeutic, classy, and encourages other people to also do a great work like the one she’s done. You should take your time to go out and look for a blue tassel carpet if you want instead of venting on peoples work. That’s so rude.

The first time I viewed the high heels DYI video it overshadowed the rug. It still does.
Why not just dye parts of the carpet? Cutting it and connecting it with tape is stilly.
I guess I'm just not into rug painting, at all. But the totes I do love those, you make it look so simple, pillows were impressive also

This is what I was looking for. I have so many rugs I brough in my travels .And I also have rugs. I don’t want to keep because they don’t look good anymore. You gave me the courage to just go with my scissors and modify them. Congratulations. Genious work

I think for the outdoor rugs (the ones that are gonna get all messed up anyhow) some of these are OK. I hate throwing away a perfectly good outdoor rug that perhaps maybe had some paint or bleach or something spilled on it. I might try doing that dye thing. Lol nothing too crazy. It is kind of exciting to be able to give new life to something and repurpose it.

@Maria Mercy we can say anything we want, and if this person cannot take criticism they should get off the internet. The world is hurting? Well most of these are an ecological disaster of chemicals. She couldn’t even stripe the bath mat properly….🙄. Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

A lot of these were really shoddy! Sorry but just cheap and tacky! What use is a hot glued pillow? You can't wash it!
And some of those painted rugs were awful, like a child had done them!
My favourites however, were the thick two layered tray topper with the cup of tea on it. That was lovely!
The painted patio with stencilling is also lovely, but I suspect won't last very long as masonry paint is intended for outdoor walls, not to walk on or scratch furniture over, but it is nice!
My best favourite was the last one, the floor mat with stencilling in front of the double patio doors. That one is beautiful and looks classy. Things that have a little more care in their creation always look better, and that last one was done much more "professionally" whereas a lot of the others were rushed....and it showed!
The only decent idea was the storage box made from a rug, but these all look like cheap trash mostly. Like seriously take the time to do these crafts carefully and it might be ok but I’m mystified by all the people who think these are good.
@@sonialinsey8083 exactly! I picked out the three I felt most attractive, but as I said with the patio, it won't last for long. The tray topper was nice but you couldn't wash it if you knocked your cup over. The last one I preferred most of all because she actually stitched the edges properly on a sewing machine, and was more particular with her stencilling. It makes such a difference when you put in some "actual" crafting into the project, rather than grabbing Dollar Tree items and hot gluing them together.
I do like the rug storage basket, but it wasn't their idea.... I've seen it on someone else's channel way before this one! But still, it will last better and be more robust if you sew it rather than hot glue it, and will hold up better being washed. I know not everybody sews, but sewing a woolly rug can be done with actual wool or string even, something that would blend right in. Then you can use a bigger darning needle, and just do a row of running stitches because they won't hardly show in the texture anyway. Totally beginner sewing friendly.
I'd have more respect for the item if they just put in that extra "CRAFT" in their crafts..... 😘😘😘

The toe wiggling on the rugs makes me want to die.
How long is that first rug going to last with only duct tape? You've got to vacuum it at some point, and probably wash it.
