Wowow ! I've been looking for these music that a friend of mine recorded on a tape 30 years ago ! I've already got it but never wrote the titles and finally, here they are !!! I especially love Móðir mín í kví, kví with Thank you thank you thank you for the share ! Ūakka ūér fyrir !!!
Mín Móðir is in Faroese, by Eivør, who also did the song before which is in Icelandic. She speaks Faroese, Icelandic, Danish, and English. Faroes is very very similar to Icelandic, but not quite. I still love it.
Thanks for the feedback, when I made this video I found this song under a list of Icelandic songs and the languages are similar so I assumed it was Icelandic. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice! It's very encouraging to see the interest Iceland has sparked in people's imagination. I hope Iceland continues to be what it is in spite of its popularity!
If you still want suggestions the song Blakkur Krummi krúnkar úti and Sprengisandur would all look good on a list like this, I could no doubt think of more songs, just not right now :)

They are in the description.
You should call it Icelandic & Swedish songs, half of these are not Icelandic, check " rammislensk " or : original Icelandic folk songs, you'll find a lot
This is even worse than the first compilation. Only six of the songs are Icelandic folk songs and 5 are not even Icelandic. Please do not continue. It is not difficult to find out that these song are not Icelandic.
