‘Strong punishment’: China starts two days of military drills around Taiwan

- Taiwanese forces have mobilised in response to two days of Chinese military drills around the island.
Beijing says the exercises are punishment for the separatist acts of its new administration, led by Lai Ching-te.

Of course the US will help Taiwan; since it represents a beacon hope of capitalism in that region of the world and that many of the semiconductors chips are produced there. I think it is wise that Intel is trying to make more chip foundries within the USA to make it more self-suficient.

Taiwan is a part of China under international law and the constitutions of both the ROC and PRC. China is within its rights to protect its sovereign territory and punish secessionism.
