- In the pantheon of Turkish drama stars, Bergüzar Korel and Halit Ergenç are akin to royalty. The couple first worked opposite each other in 1001 Nights and married soon after the series ended its run in 2009. Ergenç went on to play Ottoman Sultan Süleyman in the megahit Magnificent Century, and Korel spent three years in ATV’s successful Karadayi. In the new Kanal D series Wounded Love Korel and Ergenç are back on screen together.
Korel and Ergenç tell TV Drama about why they initially resisted being co-stars and how the story in Wounded Love, about Cevdet and Azize, a couple torn apart by war, changed their minds.

Hi . If you did not watch this series, you should watch Wounded Love because it is very very very nice series. It can even add a lot of if u watch . I very felt badly about when it finished. By the way , i am sorry if i wrote a bad English language .

They have different styles in expressing their ideas and so is in Turkish and any other language. Not all people speaking the same language express themselves in the same way. The way they express reflects their way of thinking and their vocabulary ( even in their mother language ).So, in my opinion, they both speak English fluently and it's obvious they both are very familiar with it.

The Role of Suliaman was very much demanding having a very strong sound and vocal quality, and this man did full justice with that role, wonderful!!!!!
I love them so much together! I have only seen Binbir Gece with them, but I became obsessed. I have watched 1001 Nights so many times in Turkish, English, Hungarian Romanian and I can't stop watching it again and again and again...because of Onur and Shehrezaad…
Berguzar is a real Eastern beauty, Halit looks more like a European ( a Sweedish or something like that for instance), but together they are PERFECT and UNFORGETTABLE! God Bless and Help Their Family Forever!
When I watched this series, I found these 2 to have GREAT chemistry on screen. After a few episodes I searched them up and they are actually husband and wife, ahahaa. No wonder they had great chemistry on screen :P

A script for a movie of 2 hours must have like 120-130 pages. In Hollywood a 2 hours movie it is done in 6 months normally, including the editing and shooting of the scenes. Turkey rocks at this chapter. Such a great quality with Vatanim Sensin (Wounded Love, or You are My country, better said) that we can only salute the hard work of the actors, the writers, producers, well everyone actually.

I love, love , love them!!! I have become such a huge fan of Turkish dramas. It's not always easy finding them with
English subtitles and sometimes you get half way through a series and you can't find the rest with English subtitles and it becomes frustrating. I still try though and I've learned some Turkish along the way.
