I hate it when one cat decides they're upset about the other cat's existence. It makes me sad for both of them... glad this was resolved nonviolently, though!
I had two cat who had 1 year difference in age, but the older male basically raised the younger female since she was a tiny kitten (to the point where she never really learned how to cover her poop and would pretty much always ask him to clean her butt after she used the litter XD). As much as they clearly annoyed each other and fought at times, if one of them was ever in distress, the other would stalk up as close as they dared and make sure nothing was really threatening their sibling. They didn't show it all the time, but they cared about each other so much ಥ‿ಥ
@@Sara_Feingold prolly of no use now, but I taught a 1 yr old cat to cover his poop in the litter box. After hearing him leave, I would hold his front paw & move it to cover up whatever he had done. I praised him & it took him about 1.5 days. Didn't even have treats to give him
Poor Blue lol. She was so startled by Mimi's meows and behavior. Good thing you intervened and they understand english, or else it could've escalated. 😂
