Those little 1 1/2 round jaw coils are great traps for fox cat an coon. I have some duke and victor and Blake and lamb. They are all basically the same. Matter of fact the only way to tell them apart is to read the brand name on the pan. And they hold like bulldogs and are super easy to bed and cover. Having said that, I have lots of coyote so I run mostly 1 3/4 , 2s and 3s. But really like my little 1 1/2s. I'm going to set some Duke # 1 coils for fox and coon, just to prove that the #1 Duke coils will hold a fox, no problem.
If im strictly targeting coyote i use the 1-3/4 or #2 but i run these a good bit. Only had one pulled out and i figure it was barely caught to begin with
Hi I like the way to talk about trapping scent and different things some people go too far but sometime you have to be more careful like coyotes that is different ..anyhow like to see when you tan that beautiful pelt you got of that fox .good video
I have some 650s and they do break bones on small dogs , opossum, houscats and fox. Ive seen it several times in spite of all the big trapping folks swearing it dont. I even seen a beaver leg broken and thats all i trap with big traps now .
Straight to the point no BS ,, subbed buddy
