agreed! i went to movie theater expecting just a typical thriller action film oh man that movie blew me away!!!!! it is one of the best movie i watched that year
@lawrencethelizard Vera Lynn sang it beautifully, but, this version, I think, was meant to have a more metaphorical meaning. By the time Johnny recorded this awesome version, he knew his time was almost up.
Addison Goodheart: "Anger doesn't solve anything." Gwyneth: "I wish it did. If it did, I'd anger away all the troubles of the world." - Innoncence, by Dean Koontz.
This plays at the beginning of the movie 'Crazies'. I was hoping to find it here - thank you! Also, Willie sings "Bring Me Sunshine' at the end, just before the credits.
The words refer to WW2 the soldiers saying goodbye to their loved ones -not knowing when they would see them again lt was first sung by Vera Lynn in 1942
i guess it means that we (people and nukes) will "meet" again someday. and footage of testing weapons of mass destruction with lovely melodies in the background, what do you call that...irony? very much like Fallout 3's theme song. pardon my english.
This is the opening song in the movie "The Crazies." I recommend the movie strongly.

Vera Lynn kicks ass! Her emotion behind that voice (one of the best in my opinion) can't be duplicated.
Johnny Cash makes every song better. Great video!

Vera Lynn, of course. Our Sweetheart!
