I want Mason Graham but I'm pretty sure I'll be fine with who ever they take at #7. Mykel Williams, Will Johnson, Tet McMillan and Warren are all great options.
@@CTRanks13 Warren and McMillan would be mistakes. We need to be able to stop the run and get to the QB. We didn’t lose games this year because we couldn’t score.. we lost more games because we couldn’t stop the other team from scoring. Do you realize that we lost a game against Indianapolis even though they didn’t have a punter? Anthony Richardson ran the ball down our throats like he was the second coming of Emmett Smith. If you can’t stop the run, you don’t win in this league. I prefer TCU WR, Savion Williams he is 6’5, 235lbs and runs a 4.45 forty. He is 5/10ths of a sec faster than Tet at 23lbs heavier in muscle. His catch radius is crazy, but his hands are not as elite. However, he does make circus catches look routine. As far as TEs are concerned, there are plenty of them in this draft that can catch. I love Tyler Warren because he is a more of the traditional in-line TE which could help out the OT’s in the run game, but with how bad this defense is, he would be a luxury pick At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself the question would TE or WR taken in the first round be the difference maker that would win us games by scoring more points than the opposing teams offense, or would a defense that could get the ball back into your offenses hands on 4th downs be more effective in keeping you in games close enough to win them.
@@joshuamantock4037 Next year’s QB class is much better. Why waste a draft pick, when we need to fix this defense with 2 or DTs, a LB, a SS, a CB and get a TE and a RT to fix the Offense. If we do the right thing and build a solid team then by next year, we could move up in the draft and take the best QB available even if we have to give up multiple draft picks to get him.
@ I have him graded as a first/2nd rounder. When mock draft season happens, watch him shoot up the boards by real scouts. Hopefully he stays in the 2nd round radar
Going to be very interesting to see what direction the new staff decides to go in. I wanted Bowers last year at 10 but understood the reasoning behind drafting Olu. With that being said, i'd love to get Warren but at number 7 it might be too high, however, if that's the guy Mougey and Glenn really want, then trust your gut and get a stud TE. I also am a fan of trading back maybe to pick 10-13 and pickup a few picks in the process and hopefully grab Warren if he's still available. As Bart Scott once said "CANT WAIT"!!!
I love this kid! He’s a baller! Definitely a luxury pick though. That defensive line ain’t built to stop the run and it showed this year. You can’t pass on Mason Graham if he’s on the board.
Tyler warren is no Brock bowers, and he's being taken higher than bowers was with McMillan available. The board didn't fall in our favor, because my ideal pick is Mason Graham
I have always believed that top 10 picks, with a few exceptions, should be at premium positions. TE at 7 would be a luxury pick that the Jets can't afford with all their holes.
I’ve been saying this. Who cares if he’s a TE if he’s like bowers or a top 5 Tight end? We need an identity like that. Will be our next qbs best friend.
I wanted him so bad wish we would have taken him I absolutely believe in Olu just a shame jets never utilize tight end I believe that’s why our Quarterbacks struggle so much they need that security blanket
There is so much value in middle to late first round. I'd love the jets to try to trade back 2 times in the 1st round and get back and some additional seconds and third round picks
Warren is great but TE at 7 is still too high for me. If McMillan is there I say we draft him if we want a weapon or my preferred choice being Mason Graham who could beef up our Dline. Great stuff as usual! Awesome video
We should trade back and accumulate picks. We’re rebuilding 2025 and cap space issues. Pick a tight end in 3rd or 4 round. I agree with trading back. Mogee is an expert in finding diamonds in the rough.
Thanks for great mock. I think Jets really need Offensive needs more. Yes the Jets had zero luck with TE. But if Jets stay with 7th pick I say Tyler Warren.

I disagree, we don’t know what has been asked ofJeremy Ruckert. It’s hard to get on the field when the TE in front of you has a big money contract.
@ when they think you are good enough they put you on the field
@@josephipattersonh6933 unless of course you have a terrible Oline coach named Keith Carter, a HC that plays favorites like Robert Saleh, an arrogant know it all QB like Aaron Rodgers, and of course, an unimaginative, incompetent, kiss ass OC name, Nathaniel Hackett. Then it might not matter how talented you are because you can’t get schemed up to get on the field.
@ 🤔🙄😂😂😂😂
We've never had a really good TE in the history of our team. Keep your Dustin keller mickey schuler comments to yourself. They were decent. We have never had a splash tight end in the history of our team and i'm sick of it. It would have been.
Worth it to take brock last year with any pick. Any true football fan knows the tight end.And the center are the quarterback's best friends.
Jeremy Shockey-ish!!!
And who is supposed to be throwing him the ball?? 🤔🤔🤔
Hard pass man... TE.. ?
I would trade sauce get a 1st n a third day pick get another cb 1st round n another in the 3rd day sauce is a liability
Aaron rarely uses his TE.. if Aaron stays it will imho be wasted use of talent on our 1st rd pick until Aaron leaves..
