1:54 I wholeheartedly agree. Deven Mack is my favorite Sonic VA. Not because he sounds better than the others, but he takes what makes ALL of them great and combines them into one. Deven has so much range it’s not even funny. Also if someone told me Sonic was voiced by an actual teen here, I would’ve believed them. Hot take! Prime!Sonic sounds younger then Movie!Sonic if I’m being honest. 💙
Ok, I didn’t know WildBrain was the one animating the show. Now knowing, I’m giving them credit, it looks impressive. With another show popular show from LEGO Ninjago with its animation pretty well done. They did a great job of the Sonic tv show style.
15:00 - 15:13 it could also be a reference to crash twinsanity , considering how the show seems to be inspired by Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart , it isnt impossible , but again it could be what you said because it isnt the only reference to sonic fan contents that i found out , Nine is similar to the Tails from the "Where Was My Hero" sonic fan comic and Chaos Sonics personality is kinda similar to metal sonic from "sonic ova abridged" but they could be accidents. also i am happy that you mentioned Mecha Sally , since when i watched sonic prime i was thinking about the similarities between Rusty Rose and Mecha Sally but barely anyone has mentioned it online
The pink Flicky does show up in Sonic Adventure alongside Amy in the final story. The pink Flicky is also the one that was inside E-102γ, so that would mean that Gamma is the birdie that we have been following in Prime.
Great video but have to disagree with number 30 - this is at least the third time the archie comics are referenced in other media! The second time is in the Ben Schwartz movie (sonic has his red race car bed from the archie comics) and the first time is in sonic underground, with the appearance of Knuckles' ancestors Athair (who was created by Ken Penders for the Knuckles spin off series in the Archie Comics run!)
5:32 It really doesn't matter where abouts it takes place, as it was reset and rendered completely pointless by the end. That is the biggest sin a TV series can make.
Now that really hurt my feelings that Kathy delanee, Colleen o'shaughnessey, roger craig smith, and Mike were not brought back to voice these characters, that is why I'm not watching this netflix series again.
