That is how life is. It moves so fast that you don’t have time to figure out what to do next or what you really want to do now. You just have to think about what is best in the moment. Sometimes you have to live minute by minute because things can change that quickly sometimes. All’s I know is that I’m not the same person I once was. I know it and I can feel it. Sometime I miss the old me because I was more carefree and open to things more then I am now but the new me has had to be more responsible. I have always been pretty responsible but I allowed myself to have more fun with it before. I really don’t know what was going on with you in the past and what has caused you to feel what you feel but all of us has to deal with our demons of our past that we had no control over. Maybe you didn’t need me back then. Sometimes we don’t need somebody all of the time but some people you know that they are still there in the back of your mind or they don’t have to be present because you know that they are still there. That is true, a lot of the past was full of pain and hopelessness. That is why a lot of times I tried to go in a different direction because where I was at wasn’t where I wanted to be in the rest of my life. I couldn’t see it at the time but I knew there was something better elsewhere. It was just getting the courage to move in a different direction and not knowing if that was going to be the right move because sometimes being comfortable seems safer whether it is or not. The unknown can be scary, that’s why a lot of times we just remain where we are at because what if you make the biggest mistake that you will regret but taking a chance could be the biggest mistake also. Sometimes you have to just put whatever isn’t serving you now where it belongs. I know sometimes things that have happened and people that have been in our lives leaves some kind of a mark which is hard to forget but you have to try and let the past go so you can live your present and future. I know at times I let the past sometimes get the best of me and I try to think about the here and now because that is what is important now. I do miss how we used to be. I have never had anything like that with anybody. Who knows maybe this is how it was meant to go because we don’t know what would have happened if things continued on the other way. Either way I believe we went through what we needed to go through to understand who we are and what we are now. I don’t know if the people and situations that we went through afterwards has changed how we feel now about things but I’m sure it has changed us to an extent. I guess to an extent you have to make the commitment of how important something or someone is. You have to make the commitment that you won’t let anything or anybody ruin things because there will always be someone or something that triggers you to think otherwise but it’s like people that have been with there partners forever I’m sure they have had going through there obstacles of something may seem better than what they have now but I think if they have acted on it, I’m sure they think about what they have or what they had and then they can see what they already have is what they really want and this new person may not be able to give you what they already have. The grass may seem greener but in actuality it’s not because it took years to build what they have and it’s possible that they will never get that back ever again. It takes a long time to build great things. It’s easy to think the grass is greener when what your in at the moment seems not satisfying but I think it’s just different grass with probably the same outcome with someone else. I honestly believe that you have to be happy with yourself and everything else is just a bonus because I don’t feel anybody can really make you happy unless you are happy with yourself. I think when you know you will know because you can feel when things are right.
