I've got 3 of them and use the middle one as spread. It was expensive but 4 years on and 1000kms later still have the power of the sun on my bullbar lol
I'm just investigating spotties v bar, and I think you have shown me the bar is for me. Mind you, this was 4 years ago. So I had better see how technology has altered the outcome.
Great video Kaito, I'm getting some a32's and the ar40 fitted up next month. I went for the combo light bar and one spot/one flood ar32. Iv'e been doing a bit of night driving lately, and my night vision isn't getting any better lol and hope these help. Cheers !
Fitting it up to an Rg mk2 Holden Colorado, had the car for three years or so, but caught the off-roading bug lately. Many fun times to come I hope. Subscribed to ur channel bud, keep the good stuff coming.
Good video mate. Just wondering if that bit of glare visible from the back of the AR40 is annoying or is it just the video? I'm having AR21 spots and an AR40 combo fitted to an MQ Triton.
Cheers mate :) yeah the glare does get annoying, its pretty bright. Id suggest putting some electrical tape over the edge to try combat it a bit. I'll give it a go :)
Kaito Sutton thanks for the reply bud. Fair dinkum? Wow, that's maybe enough to turn me off getting it. It looks really bright in the video, but I thought it may have been the video camera exaggerating it. Thanks very much for the heads up mate.
Yeah the cover comes with the bar and is causing the glare back, without the cover I'm pretty sure it'll fix it. I can test it tomorrow and let you know ? :)
Mark Whit hey mate. Have had the spotties for a few years but only got the light bar a week ago (this video was the first test using it). The spotties defiantly put out more light, reach further up the road, but the light bar is not far behind. It also doesn't block the radiator like the spotties do, so there's a plus. Also, the light bar is cheaper than the 2 spotties. If you already have decent spotties, adding the light bar would be perfect. Other wise, go the intensity spotties, they are a great bit of gear :)
Great vid Kaitio I’m trying to decide on one or the other leaning towards the light bar do you know what the distance is on the light bar and would it be adequate thanks Denis
Hey dennis, thank you :) in terms of distance im not really sure what they would be but they sure are adequate. As you know though light bars tend to spread the light over a larger area, rather then shoot straight down the road like an HID would. :)
Yeah, but wouldn't leave much room for spotties if you wanted them as well. you can buy mounting brackets for them so they can get bolted to a flat surface I'm pretty sure.
It’s piss poor how the light bar reflects light back at the driver, that’s a complete fail. The cheap eBay ones are one 20th the price and probably just as bright👍
Both are actually very average. And for that price it's criminal. There's plenty of superior products out there for a fraction of the price. I'm not talking about the Chinese junk either

hey mate, yeah sounds awesome getting both! won't have any trouble driving at night then. What rig you fitting them to?

All good, Its a great bar and the cover could be removed to fix the problem. I'll give the tape a go and get back to you :)
Kaito Sutton cover? Do you have one of the polycarbonate covers over the bar? Is that what's causing the glare?
Yeah the cover comes with the bar and is causing the glare back, without the cover I'm pretty sure it'll fix it. I can test it tomorrow and let you know ? :)
Hey Kaito, having both of them for awhile. What's your personal preference, what do you think is better?
Mark Whit hey mate. Have had the spotties for a few years but only got the light bar a week ago (this video was the first test using it). Kaito Sutton thanks bud, look forward to hearing back in a few weeks of your thoughts about the light bar. Looks like a nice bit of gear.
Mark Whit sure is :) the 200 will be ready for a reveal video some time this week so that'll be my next video
Kaito Sutton I'll be looking for to that. The 200 looks like a beast
Mark Whit the video should be done this week sometime, probably upload this wknd 👍🏼

I enjoyed your video :) Keep it up!
Thank u bru
very helpful cheers mate
Would be nice to be able to install it under the top tube.
Yeah, but wouldn't leave much room for spotties if you wanted them as well. you can buy mounting brackets for them so they can get bolted to a flat surface I'm pretty sure.
you look so different in 4wd action!!
haha yeah because this was years ago :)
Actually it is 4WD 24-7
The light bar cannot be mounted above the top of the bar. It’s now very illegal everywhere in Australia. Watch out!
joke rule
it might be just me but it looks like the light bar is slightly brighter
Iv'e found The ar32's are (1xcombo 1xspot) are about 30% brighter than a single ar40 combo.
Seems to put a very bright area at a short distance immediately infront
For daily city drive. Which one are more friendly?
200
Cool light bar
Do u get over heating issues with the spot lights in front of the radiator?
nah mate, the cruiser is always running pretty well. they do obstruct the radiator though, cant avoid it
Lovely review👏
Anyone know the name of the soundtrack at the start?
The same generic soundtrack that comes with video editing software.
Pisser
How good or better than cheeper brands like the Iron man?
Arb are expensive..i have a light viper…its excellent..
So overpriced

Need ARB sponsorship to afford them. Value for momey: No.
Kings spotties and light bars are awsome and online combo's for a couple a hundred dollars.
Yeah, for sure your paying for brand name since its ARB, but they are good quality there's no question about that.
Like the ARB lights .Nice gear .... But ya trumby very over priced ....
