    Minor Threat were great musicians. Brian Baker was like 13, they're not Bad Brains level and never were, but for sure a superb HC band.

      if you count first two 7” as an album then out of step would be their first and first two 7” would be the second. they also re-published their demo tape as an album, so technically they made three.

      RATM has a really strong hardcore punk root if you don’t know. Zack played in a very underground famous hardcore band called “Inside Out” in the late 80s before he formed RATM

    SWIZ!!! Everybody overlooks them, especially when compiling hardcore bands with 'black' vocalists. Irrelevant detail to me as I'm not an enthusiastic player in the live-action 'Identity Politics' board game, but to some folks it's of interest. Swiz never got the credit they deserved as a band and that much is true.
