The potential for this game is off the charts. The world needs more AAA caliber, single player story focused, third-person game with amazing visual style. Spider-Man on PS4 proved that it could work well. And the idea of doing the same thing for Blade but in the congested and narrow alleys of Paris where you can differentiate plot-lines between day and night could be absolutely

batman arkham asylum is what proved it would work well. but that doesnt mean every superhero game has to copy its formula. Arkane is amazing at making immersive and engaging singleplayer experiences and if they do what they do best, without trying to copy someone else, they will do their best work mark my words

Finally Blade is here! We have been waiting patiently for this since Wesley's Blade II.
Blade Trinity had some cool things in it but it's not that great of a movie as it could have been ALOT better! This game will no doubt be a phenomenal game and experience that lives up to the BEST of Blade entirely so!
This NEEDS to be good.
It can bring alot of much deserved attention back towards Blade if it is. I hope they dont rush it.

That was Arkane Austin that handled Redfall. They're based in Austin, Texas.
The team that is handling BLADE is Arkane Lyon, who also handled Deathloop. They are based in Lyon, France.
I think it's in good hands.

Nobody talking about the comic book inspired textures, one of the thing that hypes me the most about this game is the art style.
I actually saw that and really like it at first , just hoping they’re going for more photo realism in the game though as blood might look goofy if the graphics look too much like deathloop and spiderverse.

I like how you can see blades reaction to the barber cutting his finger and the blood smell, shows hes got the thirst i hope that is added to gameplay like kind of a morality mechanic.
A cool attention to detail that I'm just now noticing. When the guy cuts his finger on the razor, Blade starts sniffing the air because he can smell the blood. That's how he knew the guy was very nervous and probably scared which is why he said "Relax man, I don't bite."

Spiderman is a copy and paste of the Arkham games. The similarities are ridiculous. I like Spiderman ps4 a lot but i cant help but notice how much they are similar

I love that shot where you can see all the hanging crosses.
There's the normal Latin crosses, but also the Eastern Cross, and even a Menorah on the shelf. Really shows how people are so terrified of the Vampires that they'll use symbols that the don't even identify with.
yep. The Arabic writing in the beginning shot is also from a Muslim prayer (it means "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak"; so, fitting with the Vampire theme!)

Love the addition of the crosses scattered around and how the sunlight makes a cross shape in the shop. It gives a good idea of how paranoid and scary this world is full of vampires.

I never expected Blade to get a video game but for it be from the people behind Dishonored and Deathloop gets me so excited for this cause I’m huge comic book fan and loved the the original Blade films with Wesley Snipes and they are perfect for a game like this. And the upcoming Blade reboot is my most anticipated marvel film so far, so I’m beyond excited

Oh man I LOVE the Dishonored series and I can’t wait to see what they do with Blade. The Blade movies were some of my favorites growing up.
At 0:36, the tablet screen showed a detailed view of Paris, including the famous Eiffel Tower. It's interesting to note that the new Marvel 1943 game trailer story is also set in Paris and features the same view. Is this just a coincidence or could there be a connection between the two?
When the game gets developed faster than the movie. I hope they do this game justice
The video game is most likely in pre-alpha, and its release date is TBA. That said, the feature film is in pre-production and its set to be released on November 7, 2025.
This game will have a sequel before we see the movie

Arkane clearly knows how to use those gothic themes and tones in their games so if they can adapt that here I’m all for it.

The art style feels like a mix between into the spiderverse and Deathloop(which makes sense considering it’s the same devs as Deathloop)
I’m hyped for this because
1. The art style
2. Blade
3. Deathloop was one of my biggest surprises for how much I liked a game
This is what scares me most, I know gameplay will be just fine, but looking at spiderman 2 you just know wolverine is going to be a looker. Xbox needs a true hit with some staying power and this could be it, just wish they would try photorealism for this instead of him looking like he's pulled straight from deathloop. This will be compared to insomniac games whether we like it or not.
