Hey I really enjoy your content, could you do in the future a video about how to self-study advanced mathematics effectively, like what are the best strategies, planning and tools like should we learn python ect...

Thanks for the suggestion. I do have a video on how I do my curriculum and several progress videos, but I do not have a video specifically linking how I use python and chatGPT (depending on the course, I have not used either for Linear Algebra). I used chatGPT for Analysis a lot, and python and chatGPT for Number Theory. I have no idea of how to make a good chatGPT video, I hate to admit. All the ones I did got next to no views. Can you please tell me more of what would help you?

Hi there, are you still working through Abbott’s understanding analysis?

Hi! I stopped. I decided to pause on Analysis and move on to Linear Algebra since I had already covered most of the material twice. I plan to come back to Analysis. Here is the video where I explain this:

Here is the playlist for Abbott (I read the first four chapters):

I'm a first year student which one I should buy.

If you mean that you are a first year university student, I find that working through Anton has given me a familiarity with Linear Algebra that will always be a good foundation. If you have a really strong math background (with proofs), I am sure you can start with Friedberg Insel Spence. I know I couldn't have and that's why I started with Anton. Does that answer your question?

Hope you make a lot of progress regardless which book you choose.

@@mathematicaladventures Thanks man. I have seen you using linear algebra done right. Interesting name, is it good for me?

Oh I am sure it is. Axler's book is used at UC Berkeley. It's intended as a proofs-based second book.
