well he's not really a villain, I'd say he's normal in this anime 😂😂. there are only bad guys, on one side the humans who exterminated the witches by humiliating them, on the other the witches who want to enslave humans to make them fight against other humans and in the center a boy eaten away by the hatred who wants to avenge this
The witches did everything to save and help humanity. What I couldn't figure out even in the manga is why they betrayed the witches, and sought to execute them all. Was it just a man trying to gain power, and use them as a reason to become emperor. I never did figure this out.
