Can you help me understand what this means here in the picture? th-cam.com/video/bajVh67DWbY/w-d-xo.html
Does it mean that bruxism is caused by the transition from deep to light sleep and not the other way around that I had previously thought?
      Please and thank you

Dr. If you are reading this I would love your opinion please. I’m currently in myofunctional therapy. By measurement and scale I technically don’t have a tongue tie. But due to improper jaw development, my mouth is super small and my pallete is super high making it impossible for my tongue to rest on the roof of my mouth without strain. I can still get it to stay up there but no more than 2 minutes at best and full straining.
Is a tongue tie release going to actually help if I don’t have one? I’m worried it will cause unknown consequences. Also my mouth is super small there is no room in there.

Why are you in myofunctional therapy? Tongue posture is almost useless once you're an adult. Don't get a tongue tie. If you want to fix your jaws, get EASE and/or double jaw surgery w/ a top surgeon overseas.
Your bones are set in stone once you're an adult; MSE expands too anteriorly to be useful to the nasal cavity, and has no cosmetic benefit beyond a wider palette; Australian jaw surgeons will underadvance you, perform less rotation, etc. All these people will sell you stuff they think works, but they don't have proper research background to assess if things work properly or not. The fact they have chiropractors and osteopaths on the team already demonstrates they don't know what they're doing.
LACOMS, Ramieri, Alfaro, Kasey Li, to name a few places to get jaw surgery across the world. This will change your breathing and the way you look for the better, permanently.

      @@nikos4641 I meant for alternative treatment (non-surgical).

Peace there is no such thing as non-surgical treatment. It’s all lies. You need surgery if you want a better jaw.
