They could do a whole reel of "here's a bright idea:" Why don't we build an extra trench *in front* of our soldiers Why don't we burn the bodies before we hide unarmed civilians in the crypts. Why don't you fly your ice dragon down to KL or anywhere else that isn't armed to the teeth with walker kryptonite. etc etc....
it's because the hound held her back that we will never really know for sure. you can interpret it in anyway you want. Maybe she would have jumped off, pushed him off, kicked him square in the nuts, whatever you want to believe
jesse holle I'm pretty sure she was thinking of pushing Joffrey because after she looked down at the pit she glared at Joffrey and started to advance towards him.
it was actually in the book that Sansa was seriously considering pushing him off the battlements, those spiked heads were on the exterior walls of the castle, and high enough that fall would have likely killed Joffery, Sansa thinks about killing him, but the moment passes too quickly and she hesitates, thus Joffrey survives the day.
I do gotta watch that show sometime... I'm sure its great I just don't wanna be dissapointed plus who has time to watch TV when you are a hard core game addict
@@Jeremiah767 uhm... I would not recommend it nowadays. The first 4 seasons are great tv gold, season 5 and 6 are fine, then from 7 onwards is a bloody trainwreck.

LOL! So True! That death was too good for that fucker Joffrey! I like that Sansa actually grew some balls in this one! That would have saved a lot of shit happening in the future!
+Candace Garrett for me i think it's a bad idea to kill joffrey, joffrey is one of the reason why game of thrones is a great show, season 5 is so different 'cause joffrey and tywin are dead, ramsay and sand snakes are worse, because of them, i miss joffrey and i'm not proud of it
Everyone hates on sansa way too much. I get this is supposed to be funny, and it is. but everyone complaining in the comments saying "this is what she should have done" she totally tried, but the hound stopped her. She was going to shove joffery over the edge but was stopped. She couldn't follow through at that point cuz the hound isn't dumb and is like 7 ft tall. even in the books she is completely about to do it until the hound stops her. stop hating on sansa for not following through. sad face (I am not as serious and angry as this comment makes me sound. I am playfully leaving this comment. don't take me that seriously)
I see what you mean. I don't like her because when Hound offers to take her back to her family she refuses. She has all these clear getaways and she just doesn't take them. She just puts herself in danger and doesn't think about it. I don't blame her for not pushing Joffery I blame her for not getting away! (I am also not angry I just want to share my views!)
Holly Easter Well, she didn't go with the Hound because she thought Stannis was going to win the battle (in that moment he was winning) and bring her home, which was safer for her than traveling the whole country with the Hound.
I thought that at first too, but as the story goes on, her character really matures. She begins to see that the world isn't a fairy tale, and starts to think for herself. By the end of the fourth season you'll be amazed, trust me :)
TabbyWabby No.I mean the Lannisters definitely got very angry but they could have prevented it by sort of peace treaty after Tyrion came back. But then Ned got executed.
Am I the only one who hates Ed Stark most of all? He could become king right after Rob died by bribing the kings guards and with the support of Renly but because of his honor and some other bs he didnt want to, he is also responsible for Robs death because he went on and told Sersei he knew about her and her brother like a total moron
Well being an honorable man wins the heart of the people, tell Cersei about her and Jamie was really stupid tho... unfortunately pretenders to the throne plays dirty... and the whole city is brain dead idiots :i
How it really should have ended: Joffrey gives the order to cut Ned's head off. The executioner's sword rises, Arya and Sansa are horrified... and then suddenly a Batarang flies out of nowhere and strikes the executioner's hand. He cries out, dropping his sword, as Batman swoops in and takes out Joffrey's entire Kingsguard in a matter of seconds, before whisking the Starks to safety. Cut to Batman fighting slavers in Essos and saving Sir Barristan, then punching out Walder Frey, then beating the Mountain in a fist fight, then rescuing Stannis's daughter from the fire, and then finally killing the Night King with a Valyrian Steel Batarang. Final shot: Batman sitting on the Iron Throne. Why? Do you really need to ask? Because HE'S BATMAN!
Yeah, I'm not the first person to say this, but she tried to do that in the book, but the Hound could tell what she was about to do and got in the way before she could make her move. Probably for her own sake more than Joffrey's.
It's an extremely petty form of revenge. It's not great, but it's the best Sansa can do. Purposefully pronounce her enemy's names weirdly. That's pretty much all she's got. Sansa isn't very good at this game.
You know, if Sansa had only done this, sure, she'd be dead, but she would've been the best character in the show. Now, I'm forced to like Baelish. Freaking Baelish...
Tried and failed. She went to and Sandor Clegane held her shoulder firmly so she couldn't move and therefore stopped her. At least he was nice enough to not have her charged with attempted regicide.
On a serious note tho this would not actually end anything. In fact it would've given Robb more of a reason and a stronger motive to attack the Lannisters
Maybe not, because with Joffrey dead Robb would have had less reason to keep fighting. And him keeping Jaime prisoner might now be even more serious because the Lannisters would have no bargaining chip. Unless Catelyn still acted like a total moron again.
It is clearly visible in the series that Sansa wants to do just this - however I always have the feeling, giving how depressed she is in that moment that she want to kill them both, something like grabbing him (so he cannot grab something or so) and throwing them both down. I had the distinct feeling she wants to die as well and that is why the Hound stops her, he has pitty on her (like cleaning her face and telling her she will need the hanky). In the whole scene, the most disfigured guy is the less monstrous (besides Sansa).

lucas5665 No because Hound saved her sister. Sansa would be with them so she would be saved as well.

She had the guts. The Hound didnt
Still would have had Tommen and Myrcella and the Starks still assume that they have Arya so its not as straightforward as all that.
I think the reason the felt confident in claiming they had Arya, was that they had Sansa and they could show around Sansa all the time just making people assume "well, perhaps I just didn't see Arya"
But if they don't have Sansa, it's much harder to make anyone believe they have them, except they faked it like the Boltons.
