What an incredible band they were! I love seeing the shows I missed. Every one of them were so top notch and had loads of stage presence. I always thought Stuart Duncan brought a kind of sophisticated style of playing that went so well with the group. Alan O'Bryant had such a soulful voice which made him perfect for lead on many songs. Mike Compton is a legend and I still try to learn his licks on mandolin. Pat Enright has great range and a voice to match.
Incredible, impeccable audio and video under any circumstances. I'm sure this is A VHS restoration. About 20 years I traveled 5 hours from north Florida to a small college jn south Atlanta to here this group. Definitely a bucket list trip for me. Big fan here.

I never thought Stuart Duncan was ever that young.

Mark Hembree on the acoustic bass and bass vocals. He also wrote a great book about his time with Bill Monroe! Great read!
