I appreciate your reports on locations around Albany. Another journalist, Peter Dibble, came up in my you tube feed. He makes videos on 'obscure history from PNW'. One of his stories is about Coalca Landing, an abandoned state park. You both make interesting videos.
I have personally been thwarted by their sign saying it’s a private drive. Didn’t know any other way in to the park but to swim across the river, and so I left without visiting. I’m curious if Hasso asked the neighbors for comment or he just reasonably assumed if they’re the type to put up that sign, then they’re not the best folk to ask about sharing a drive to a state park.

I have parked on the side of the road by the private drive and walked down the private drive and visited this park a few times.

If you fish there that first pond belongs to that house on the left and the old lady will come out and harass you.
