- This surprise update was revealed a few weeks ago, and the new Prologue theme is incredible.
The original comes courtesy of V5 composer BGM1401, who has sadly since passed away.
The reveal video has since been removed, but the game can be easily searched.

No idea. He was a very private person and his death wasn't made public until a few months after.

It's all about how the sprites voices, punches, whacks/cuts with weapons, bike explosions, and final defeat grunts all add to the music tracks as well........ something really special happened with SOR2 where literally everything you did in the game made the music sound like you were DJ'ing in a sense with each 'jab' if u know what i mean..
Damn that halfway point. But it's all pretty fantastic. Feeling original with a new sounding twist. I dig it!
I just wish that Bomber Link(SORR Creator) would heard this remix and put it in the "RETRO" soundtrack

That's one of my favourite things about Remake. The SOR1 version characters were updated to SOR2 style, without losing too much of the original character.

I like the rechargjng power meter so you cant just spam special moves like in 2
I've always preferred the meter, even over the 'green health' system in 4. That one doesn't really work since the AI is so cheap.

I’ve played bit of the SOR remake and fucking hell the difficulty is a hard as fuck. I didn’t get very far as I had a quick play on it a while back but I had so hard time getting through the SOR1 route they did a good work revamping up the bad guys aggressive and smart play. How do you get the SOR1 characters in that game
Yeah I know the struggle. I set it to Easy and went through the SOR1 route as Zan. Even that gets tough once you get to the elevator. I actually copied over my 5.1 save for this footage, but apparently you're recommended to start over.

Just wondering will you ever do a playthrough of the remake?
The closest thing would be a playthrough of all exclusive levels to an eventual album. But maybe I'll try something for a Boxing Day stream, if I'm able to do that again.
