- I've made a small guide on how to survive and combat all of the enemies (excluding the troll) that you'll find in the goblin caves. I've also thrown in a few of the best areas to loot to find those higher quality items and trinkets. Hopefully this will help you guys out, more so newer players who might be struggling with the solo experience!

For the centipede, I have mastered and don't get hit once as figher. Despite it's size and scariness, stay as close to it as you can and just go left or right. You won't get hit by it's melee nor ranged attack! Free rings and necleces :D
Yeah being a fighter is great for PvE early on, gonna have rings on all your fingers haha
Ive been trying that with heavy armor/ longsword and still got hit, but ill give it another try again with a falcion and some more movement speed i recon. Skill issue i guess :) .
@@AlphaMelGibson I don't have full plate armors. Usually 1-2 plate armor pieces max cause i am too slow :D. Also yea, i have done with falcion and the starting blade. No need for extra movement speed from bonuses
just 360 around him, eyp he is easy if u have fighter or rouge

Cool tip for flying heads on goblin caves and crypts, they count as undead so you can use your holy purification on them if your playing cleric. Super easy to clear the pyramid room on crypts

A good note about the mine is that there is a guarenteed unlocked lions head chest there at least at the time of this comment. It's in the bottom with all the gobbos behind a wood blockaid but can be reached without even breaking it.

The new axe goblins can hit twice. The 'nunchaks' are Bolas. Very good video =)

Good stuff brother. Thanks so much for the video. Great info, a friend of mine just told me yesterday that the skeleton mage can kill himself with fireball. Makes things sooo much easier lol.

I'm really enjoying Bard, the debuff spell is amazing and can let you 3-4 hit a goblin with starting gear.

the forbidden technique for the centipede is get him to stand on the torch/brazier just infront of the shrine and crouch. He will never hit you. Good to know a legit way to kill him for when that gets removed tho

For the bats sonic attack, try walking up close and around the back of it and circle it

4:39 the left hand of the statue in the background acts as a lever. it'll open a door where the giant worm can spawn (or a mummy). the worm can't leave the room. ez to cheese with ranged attacks.
Yeah it has a chance to drop the old rusty key like the one on ruins

For the skelly king. You can also cheese on the lanterns there. Until they make him swing up exploit early and often!

2:50 Goblin Shaman aoe 'heal' empowers nearby goblins and oh boy... You dont want to stand next to bola goblin when it happens. Also learn to use strafing and camera turning instead of back pedaling S because you lose lot of momentum by pressing S.
Skele Champion gets stuck on most doors. You can just bow/spell it down with some classes.

Numchucks are melee weapons. The goblins are throwing bolas iirc

you can literally just circle left on the centipede and he wont hit you. killed this thing without taking any damage by doing that
The centipede ranged attack was so hard to figure out for me but i learned that when you stay very close to him and crouch while looking on the ground the poison never hits (i did it a few times just to be sure)

Great vid. Suprised you didnt mention the eastern staircase exit/extract. If you clear the area early you can use the health shrine to withstand the storm if it opens late. In my experience its uncontested 99% of the time
there's built in map extracts instead of portals?
I'm gonna mention that in a future vid but probably should've mentioned it here! It's a great extract to go for
@@l4dfanatic11 on normal goblin caves eastern part of map there is a lil staircase on map near where the centipede spawns, opens during one of the final circles
@@l4dfanatic11 There's both. The problem with Goblin Caves is that extract portals are way less frequent. The stairwell is something like a mitigating mechanic for that.

You make the shaman orbs sound like nothing... they lock onto me and hit me while strafing. Anyone have a tactic for this?
Keep distance and strafing will always work
@@TemplarDarkandDarker Hmm. I was strafing. How much distance do you need. I tried a few meters away and got hit.
There's also a giant worm that spits a acid pool in a secret room that spawns. It will sometimes spawn a mummy instead but it is awful to deal with
Yeah, the one that drops the rusty key, i found it on ruins but i only heard it exist in GC too, but idk where
@@jorge4572 it's in one of the spawn rooms that has a bunch of bats and spidres and like a small pool in it. You have to go to the statue and move the arm to open the door
@@josiahgalindo9451 thanks a lot, i doubt i get a Rusty Key, but it's something to keep in mind if i spawn near it. I guess soloing it as a rogue with starting gear will take a bit, but it's worth it
@@jorge4572 ya I have no idea what it gives cause I always have to leave because of the circle before killing it so if you do let me know if it is worth it
@@josiahgalindo9451 it opens a gate in The ruins, it is by all means and purposes the same as the golden key from the skeleton champions, only that this opens The Ruins instead of Forgotten Castle
I'm really glad the centipede loses to standard "circle around and stab it in the butt" Dark Souls strats, but damn I wish it had slightly less health. The drops are always pretty good, but I've spawned in the right spot to rush fighting it so many times and it just takes forever. Also, Bolas-slingers and Archers are really good if you can set them up with a melee or Goblin mage between you and them. They'll just pelt the back of their own friends without a care in the world.
Yeah with starter gear the centipede can be an absolute slog to kill I can't lie but its well worth the time investment. Getting goblins and skellies to hit each other is always a good strat for fast clearing!
The shaman can and WILL bonk that ass with a staff up close. It is very uncommon but it does happen

You can duck to avoid centipede poison attack.
Just press CTRL and look at the ground
I found a statue of a woman where i could turn her hand and open a secret door. Giant worm inside fucked me up. It burrows in the ground

I had to force myself to avoid caves because thats all i did the last two PTs but now that ive done a lot of grpup stuff and hit 20 on the bard i kinda wanna try solo

Just want to say the goblin doesn't use nunchuks it's a sling or bolo nunchuks are a melee weapons.

Better yet I'll just bullshit him at the end when he's trying to open a portal! If you think teaming with other players in a solo dungeon is okay then I was clearly wrong about this channel.
