It is based on Supply and Demand. There is no fixed price. I think you should check directly with hotel... When I was there it was "HIGH SEASON - PEAK SEASON" and hotels were fully booked and difficult to get them. So, I probably got at much much higher price. ✍ I paid about "1850 SAR" for only "4 Nights" in 3rd week of DEC 2022.
Not far away if you have living standards like in Sweden where people used to walk this much in daily life... But yes it is not in front of the gates of Al Haram.
