1 Somewhere on the main line. 2 Ballybrophy. 3 is at Hazelhatch & Celbridge. 4 is at Frenchfort Level Crossing. 5 is at Merrion Gates. Well near. 6 is at Connolly Station. 7 is at Pearse Station. 8 is atone of the tunnels between Bray and Greystones. 9 is at Dalkey tunnel. 10 is at Kildare Station and 11 is at Ballinahooly traffic light level crossing.
Adam Maher we would have to electrify the whole intercity mainline for that to work for the 225s and they dont have the same track gauge in ireland as they do in the Uk so if we were to take the 125s IE would have to regauge the bogies
Class 29000s are usually commuter trains but are sometimes used on intercity services. The Mark 4 is an intercity train used on the Dublin to Cork service and it is faster than the 29000 and 22000 class trains.
Nice Shot of Irish Rail Train Horns
1:27 the cutest train horn ever

They just cannot beat the whistle on them old steam trains
I agree
Nice! The Dart's horn is pretty funny too!
Indeed it is!
Sounds more like an air horn which suits its compact form factor

Some 22000 railcars had a 2-tone horn when they were newly introduced
There's still one or two of them left with the two-tone horn :)
ive only ever hear class 200s and class 2200s sound the horn in wexford
nice horn sounds, i wish some of the trains used 2-tone horns though
Me too !
0:53 it sounds american
Yep
Mm Hm :]
infact that train is used in ireland
lol the inspection car
the track recording car no joke scared me as a kid o-o
Doesn't the class 22000 and the class 2800 use the Nathan P2 train horns? They sound just like it.
The only trains I ever see is the 22000 Class and the Mark Iv combined with the other one and the Dart
The track at 1:39 looks like a London underground track
It's because the train is getting electricity from those tracks
This horns are like Indian train horns
Some of them are :)
nice video boss
Thank you ! :)
The 2800 Class and TRV horns are my favorites.
How did you get them all to honk a ye? Did you just stand about in front of them off camera?
lol, no most drivers just give a short honk when they're passing through stations but the odd driver gives a good, long loud one :)
Cool :)
The next train is arriving at platform 1 service to portlaoise calling at Cork
Nice Collection of Shots Rob!😃.Nice Idea!.
Thanks, some of them are a bit short though :)
irelandbloke lol the trains or how long the clip is lol 😂
I had the 201 Class and 071 in my old Computer😢
The 2800 class looks like a cross between the class 156 and 150
The 2600 is basically the 156's Irish son.
The 22000 class remind me of a class 334
Mark IV is my Favourite Horn!
mine too
Me three
Yeah
Awesome horns, mate!! 199th like!! :)
nice shot of that mark 4 and that horn of it sounds great can you put a link for that vid please 0:35

The 2 last ones ( Inspection Car and track recording car) are what you call flying bananas 😁😁😁😁
lol 😁
If only the UK gave us them Intercity 125s they'd be well used
Or the InterCity 225s
Adam Maher we would have to electrify the whole intercity mainline for that to work for the 225s and they dont have the same track gauge in ireland as they do in the Uk so if we were to take the 125s IE would have to regauge the bogies
Ta to the Irish drivers
Nice horns
Thanks !
Most of these horns sound American rob
Excellent video bloke. 👍👍
Thank you very much ! :)
Why Irish Rail was not get member from Network Rail and National Rail from UK if the reopening of disused railways in Ireland???
This is giving me a hord'n!Nice video! You can hear the noise as they pass at speed, they change tone!
WELL OBVIOUSLY.
Wow I thought they were pretty much the same, now I know better ! Thanks for sharing :-))
Thank you, none of them are as loud as the north American trains though ! :)
irelandbloke that’s so very true ! I’ve only known loud trains, I was in Philadelphia last year where they are electric and are very quiet !
Is there a train in beltfast and its called the 3000 class and its blue and it goes to connoly very rarely
There is. This one: th-cam.com/video/pqfoHJ-s-kk/w-d-xo.html
Do they have a low and high horn or just a low horn
Usually just a low tone. It's rare to hear a two tone horn over here
Inspection car = funny
Shame, they're not like ones here in Wales, Scotland and England that have two horns that can be sounded separately.
Certain trains here have a high tone and a low tone.
Nice one!!
The dart one sounded shite lol
Didn't it ! lol :)
Very good 👍😀
Thank you 👍

Nice Footage !

is class 29000 is intercity? is mark iv intercity train? mark iv go speed faster?
