If you go on their website you have an option to press a night view mode, & they are very bright, last a long while scratch proof face & mega waterproof, I had a GX70 model which they unfortunately no longer make, but it heldup to night fishing swimming/snorkeling & getting bashed around pebbles in the sea etc, customer service was spot on aswell.

They may even sell more if they answered their phone! I've wanted to purchase the Nite Alpha on a bracelet but cannot get them to return a call from the states.
Gives me huge pause on the kind of customer service they offer...

My polycarbonate strap broke long time ago, got a nato strap from them as replacement, as the metal bracelet is too expensive. But I have the original HAWK (got it 3 years ago) , no sapphire crystal, and the battery died in the meantime. (had it replaced at a local watch repairer)

Have the same watch being delivered tomorrow! The only other tritium watch I've owned is a Luminox. I'm a watch nut but this is my first nite watch. Can't wait to get it. Thanks for your review.
Edit. I received excellent communications, receipt and tracking info from nite waches. Ordered on Saturday and tracking info says it will be here on Tuesday. That's excellent.

Enjoy your new watch! I LOVE mine!! Honestly I liked mine so much that I just finished ordering me a second Hawk model (the Hawk 201 - just to give me another option with a little more color in the dial and bezel). Great watches - and I agree about their communication and customer service as well. Wait until you get yours and see how bright the tritium is......thats when the fun really begins! :) All the best to you and your new Nite watch!

I have a Nite Alpha 218T100 and I have to say your video does not do those tritium tubes justice as they glow brightly in the dark. I'm also fortunate to come from Christchurch where they are made so I can go to their shop to view them. Nice review by the way.

Thanks Darren. You are 100% right - I can't stress it enough the tubes on this watch (and I would assume all of the Nite Watches) are amazing! Unfortunately on the 'lume' part of my video my junky camera just wouldn't focus like I needed it too. :( Really loving my watch - and glad to hear you are your 218T100 as well. Thanks again for the comment!

I would love to order one of these and tried but the company refuses to ship any other method than signature required. That sucks because I have a job and a life. I am NEVER home to receive when couriers come around and it is a major pain in the ass. Just leave it at my door. I live in a very secure area. It ain't going to get stolen.

I hear you on that newcoyote, and can totally see your frustration there. I see both sides of it because I guess they don't want to run the risk of the watch not getting to the actual buyer. It does seem a little extreme on their end.... When I got mine it was signature required and I was just like you....knowing there was no way I would be home when the watch arrived due to me being at work. I ended up using my "we missed you" label to pick up the package later than evening at the Fed Ex facility. Was still kind of a pain to deal with....but it beat having to take a vacation day to be home to receive a package. Great watch once you finally get it though....so worth the headache - but I absolutely agree with you on this one....

Bought one from Nite. No email confirmation of sale, although on interest free finance. Had to email them for an invoice to confirm the sale. Arrived, lume is awesome, sadly watch is market stall quantity. Basically, you'd be embarrassed to admit that this watch cost £300 plus. Casio G Shock/Edifice every time. Plastic fantastic. Shame, loved the lume.

Sorry to hear of your experience! Mine was total opposite. I got a invoice the day after I ordered it with tracking details alerting me when to be home to sign for the package. Quality control was outstanding, and the watch is a pretty good value I think when compared to the other polymer / tritium watches that are out there (if you look at the swiss movement / sapphire crystal ones). I was actually thinking about ordering a second since I liked my T100 so much.....
