    Hi Francis! Excellent video. One question/remark: at 4:44 you say Oil temperature. Isn’t that the coolant fluid temperature? I am just asking because recently I drove a car that had both and the Oil temperature symbol looked like a small gallon with a temperature symbol together. Many thanks for the great videos and for your help! :)

    Why do old vehicles do not have the rpm gauge in their tacometer? so I got forced to get used on hearing the engine in order the have the "feel" in my vehicle

    16:00 did he mean to say, you shouldnt need to break and accelerate at the same time?

  • @jennyli365
    @jennyli365 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I cycle a lot, sometimes I do feel driving is similar as cycling regarding how to use brake pedal. But I found it is hard to control with foot 😅. Could you please explain more how To press the brake gentle , especially the gas pedal, I often loose control of it as my instructor always remind me to press the gas more or release it .

    • @honeypot9867
      @honeypot9867 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know I’m replying late but I’ll answer anyways for anyone with the same question. Place the heal of your foot in the middle of the gas and the brake and let your heal act as a pivot point and treat both petals like marshmallows and slowly apply pressure on both the gas and the break when using both petals. I hope this helps😊

  • @TenPoisonCupcakes
    @TenPoisonCupcakes 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I wish I have you as an instructor, I had no experience with cars like at all I literally only knew clutch, breaks, acceleration, what the number dials in front of me were and the indicator- the guy made the gears so unbelievably confusing and frustrating and wouldn’t explain to me how it works and I was there like “does he want me to move the gear to 1 or 3?” Oh yeah he also took me to a really busy four way junction and would talk at me in a way I was being far too overwhelmed and kept nearly swerving off the road and nearly rear ending cars

    The future of driving is Hybrid and Electric, why waste time, money and effort trying to learn to drive manual when Automatic is what you’re gonna end up driving 🤔 move with the times.

    • @chrisfahy8880
      @chrisfahy8880 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you pass a manual driving test you are qualified to drive both manual and automatic. If you pass an automatic driving test however, you are not qualified to also drive manual.

    • @morafiq1218
      @morafiq1218 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chrisfahy8880 yes you are absolutely correct, but my point is hybrid and electric is the future. Hybrid vehicles are so widespread now that upon passing the driving test people are driving automatics.
