I lived in Edinburgh when his book came out as I wrote to him and he sent me a signed copy and wrote "stay clean " as I was battling addiction. He has a lot in common with me and I absolutely admire the way he deals with EVERYTHING. He's a legend and will never be forgotten.
The 80’s music was the best…. Boy George & Micheal Jackson are the only two I listened to at the time. When my daughter was little around 5 I introduced their music to her. Twenty one yrs later she’s still listening and sharing with her friends ❤❤ MUSIC IS LIFE,LOVE & a STRUGGLE ❤❤

I am a Gay man n I had the honor of meeting Boy George about 20 years ago. It was at a bookstore here in Chicago. His autobiography was just out n I waited 2 hours in line to meet him. He was signing the books for people. I love him. It was amazing n very special.
I read his 1995 Autobiography "Take it Like a Man" in '97. In HS, I just couldn't process that he was gay, even though my Mom and Stepdad kept telling me he was. George has been out since 1984, and really admitted that he wasn't sure how America would accept him coming out. His Outing was very quiet and grounded.
