Bro I have been watching your content for a few weeks now and I just assumed you were a huge creator with how great you are at explaining things. I swapped over from league having this be my first ever real venture into tft, and you have taught me so much so far. Love the content man!
Your channel is very inspiring, I am teasing the thought of making TFT content, and I can see how much hard work you put into this! You’ve been a very helpful guide/teacher throughout my ranked climb. This is my second set!
Thank you SO MUCH Fenrir for this video!!!! The fact you are not getting more views is criminal! May I know when would you build like a garen or Elise? Also for Garen build, when and which item would you replace and add Garrgoyle instead? Is garg still worth having if the tanker is suppose to take hits from multiple player? Lastly, When or what type of unit should use steadfast heart as priority? and which other 2 items would begenerally better with it? New viewer because of your item guides. Again, THANK YOU!
garen i think gargoyle isnt that great since you cant isolate him to get better value on the item. Armor/mr is dependant on lobby just make sure theres at least some hp on garen and make whatever frontline items you can. Often my tanks for most the game just have sunfire/spark with another item because of the way items work out so dont stress. Steadfast is better on non-watcher units but it depends.
I liked the video, especially when you emphasize the BiS trap people fall into. I feel like there could have been a better learning moment with several tests. For example, a multiple choice question trying to find the best 3rd item on a particular unit. Otherwise, it never occurred to me how synergistic it was to pair IE with HoG or LW. I always thought it was only done for healing or shred, but now I know of the other factor.
What is the diminishing return at the tank items you spoke of? Or the items you should avoid to put together? I think at the garen example, Does the healing percentages not stack for example? I get it with armor, or resistance but not with more hp with more healing. Can you please clarify,
Idk watch the previous video, if you don't want to do that, avoid durability on garen because he gets it with watcher. HP is good but resistances can be much more effective with the HP in matchups because it works out to be high effective hp. If you have two tanks like I said in the video spamming belt items on garen is good since it buffs everyone so it gets a lot of value
Do you think that to get the most out of Nashor's Tooth, the time between each cast should be 5 seconds? I mean, Nashor's gives you like 60 mana and Nashor + Shojin gives you around 90 mana (taking into account Nashor's 5 second attack speed duration) Idk, i feel that it's sometimes a lot of mana on units with 40 or 60 mana per cast.
idk that used to be more of a problem in prior sets like pre 10. Mana over casting is fine cus extra mana is refunded anyways. There are situations where you can drop nashors since its similar to shojin in that it doesnt give the best stats, just good flexible casting. Its why sometimes having giant slayer or another amp+spd item with mana can be better late game. But for most of these guides thats not a major situation to consider for beginners, its better to just use components in a way that gives you multiple options late game
They work on auto attacks as well. However if the unit is not doing a bunch of damage with auto attacks/ isnt auto attacking that much, then crit on cast is important

Wait, do the crit. chance procs only on cast?
