Here in the Philippines, we get excited for the 24th, Christmas Eve! Every tradition, if not all, is always celebrated on the eve here. So I get Lilian, lol.
Your Christmas tree is so classy! Not too over-done, and very warm and cozy looking. The wooden ornaments and the white candles against the green of the tree is so perfect. Great job! I remember while in the Army my friends all lesbians thought it was a good idea to cut down our own tree like illegal. Having had cocktails we headed out cut the tree in the dark got home and it was a scrub!!! It did look good with lights on it! lol
That's a great idea! My parents always plant it in their garden and dig it out again the next year. Wasn't very pretty cause it would be half-dead the next year, but you know... 😅 - L

Lametta looks nothing like real hair, though. The angel hair that actually looks like real silvery-white hair is called Feenhaar (fairy hair) in German. And I agree, it looks kinda weird. :-)

We should all be so lucky as that little tree :-) I know it is sad to think that it dies after this. But, the tree is bringing joy to this world, and that is what existence is all about. We're here for each-other.
@@storybellz - If you truly believe that we are here for each other then you will leave next years tree alive and well and buy a good quality fake one that you can use every year from now on as it would make me happy. I have an incredibly realistic tree that I have used for twenty years, and putting it up is something the whole family do together at the beginning of December. Give it some thought, you have eleven months to mull it over!! : )
