Totally agree with Jenna. On Sept 11, 2001- we lost our innocence, our carefree life, and for me and many others, we lost our sense of safety. I saw the towers perish from my window- We had recently purchased this particular apt mainly due to the view of the WTC. All I kept thinking was all the lives that were in those buildings and were not able to get out. There isn't a day that goes by I don't think about that dreadful day and all the wonderful people that not only lost their lives on that day but all those first responders that passed away and those that also passed due to coming down with cancer due to inhaling the asbestos. What a tragedy. I believe that it is something that we as a nation should never forget. Please honor all who lost their lives due to this tragic terrorist attack.

Su Hugo she shows emotion easily, which is one of the things that maker her so loveable and relatable. I feel so bad for all the young people who experienced that day. It must have been terrifying. I was not yet a Mom, but now have 3 teens that ask me about this day, because they learn about it in school. May God continue to bless America 🇺🇸.

I was in middle school when it started and I also remember walking in through the door 🏠🏡🏘️ when the second tower was hit. The next day at school was so confusing because nobody understood what had happened the day before.
This was really nice to see you talking about this topic. I do think it was disrespectful to go straight into that CBS guy while you were talking about 9/11.

I vividly remember this day I remember leaving school in shock knowing something very tragic had happened and hearing fighter jets flying over my house guarding the B.P. Oil Refinery near my home and the skyscrapers of downtown Chicago I would later learn more details and the outrage I felt was immense

It was really tough for me, as well as everyone in this country, to live through this day. I was in Kindergarten at the age of 5 1/2. Didn't remember anything, but teachers were told about it and didn't want us to panic. Despite the country being in such great peril then, they were still very wise to not let us know what was going on.

I guess their schedule was different than mine- I went up there very early. Can't remember the time, but I know I was there for a while until I figured out what was really going on.
I was in first grade back then. I remember that another first grade teacher ran inside the class and told my teacher to turn on the tv. I remember that at least watched one of the towers collapse. I think back how at the time I did not grasp that people were dying as the towers were collapsing. By the time it was for school to end there were less 100 students left.
I too remember that year (22 Years Ago), I was at my house with my 6-year-old daughter named Angel, my 8-year-old son named Joseph, and my 1-month-old daughter named June, I was in the kitchen of my house washing the breakfast dishes, I was looking over at the TV in the living room, an episode of "Little House On the Prairie" (when it was on the Superstation TBS Network, and it was the episode of when that old house that they've turned into a school for all of those poor blind kids was on fire) on TV, Angel was in her bedroom watching her favorite DVD "Sleeping Beauty", Joseph was in his bedroom watching his favorite Movie "The Rescuers Down Under", Baby June was sleeping in her Baby Swing, I was washing the last bowl, until the telephone ringed, I hurried to answer the phone, I started talking to my best friend Sarah, she asked me if I would go grocery shopping with her, I told her that I would, The kids and I would be there at her house, I was talking to her for over an hour, until I looked at the Mirror that was facing the TV in the living room, that's when I saw this happening.
My Thoughts are with Those who lost their Lives, at the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and United 93, all the Men and women, I wish I could just turn back the earth and turn back time, so that all of you will live and have your moments with your families, and lives that were taken from you, also all of the children that were also killed too, both boys and girls, I also wish I could just turn back the earth and turn back time, so that you all would have a childhood that was taken from you all.

18 Years Ago Today, I remember that Day, I remember I was at my house, with my 4-year-old son named Tyler and my 6-year-old Daughter named Zoe, My Husband Frank had gone off to work, I was in the kitchen washing the dishes in the kitchen sink, and was looking over the island bar that connected the kitchen and the living room, the flat Screen TV in the Entertainment Center, an Episode of "Little House On The Prairie" (When it was on the super station T B S at the time, and it was the episode when that old house that they've rebuild into a school for all of those poor blind kids was on fire) was playing in the living room, Tyler was in His Bedroom watching On TV His Favorite Movie "Follow That Bird", and Zoe was in her bedroom watching on her TV her Favorite Movie, "Atlantis The Lost Empire", I was washing the last bowl, when i looked over and sat this happened, I quickly put the bowl in the drainer to dry, rushed to Tyler and Zoe's bedroom and told them not to come into the living room, i went back in the living room, and was watching this.
Yet, normal parents made that choice, bills, or threat. My mother gave me that choice, but she knew she still had to pay the bills. I took the choice to go to school, and I am happy I did

I was 7 years old on 9/11. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and remember a very weird day at school. It was beautiful outside, but we had indoor recess. Teachers were acting weird and some kids had their parents pick them up. On the bus on the way home, a girl told me there was a plane crash in New York. This girl often made up stories often, so I wrote it off. My then 5 year old sister came home to my mom shaken up and my then 2 year old sister napping upstairs. We asked what was wrong, and to this day I think she explained it perfectly to two young children. We were told there were evil people who hated our country that crashed planes in New York. We were devastated and were sheltered through the event, yet I do remember watching the crash replays when I was supposed to be in bed. It was a day I'll never forget and when I sadly learned how evil some people can be.

I was in 8th grade social studies. The teacher put the tv on and didn't say a word and we all sat in silence. My dad told me when the first plane hit he thought it was a terrible accident. But then when the second plane hit he knew we were under attack. He was in Vietnam and saved all sorts or newspapers on this and he pinned bin ladens picture to his bulletin board with the word Morta across his face which means dead in Italian. I always remember that. And that was way before we killed him. He wanted him dead so bad and it drove him nuts. None of us will ever forget. I have a beautiful giant picture hanging in my house when you first walk in of the twin towers.

I've never seen Stephanie Gosk on any other news broadcast . Who does she think she is? I would be okay with Kelly cutting Jenna off, for the moment of silence but Stephanie's interruption really rubbed me the wrong way.
