Magneto isn't actually evil as well, he's an antihero, which basically means his reasons are good and just because in the Marvel universe Mutants are heavily discriminated against by humans and you see that in both the animated shows X Men the animated series and X-Men 97. So Magneto really just wants Mutants to be able to live in peace without being threatened by violence, aka in the animated series he built Asteroid M as a peaceful area for mutants to live and in the animated series, he was only going to go to war with humanity because Henry Peter Gyrich a anti mutant human attacked Charles Xavier in plain sight and other mutants were rioting because of the fact that Charles Xavier was attacked. So the thinking is reasonable from Magneto, so therefore he is an antihero rather than a villain. Because the reasons are actually just, he just uses violence to achieve his goals.
The creation tools in 2k24 are lots of fun. Some amazing creations here! I think I prefer these to the rumbles with real wrestlers.

When the video suggest that fans are going to ‘cry’ as a result of the conclusion of these rumble matches, that usually means one of ‘two’ outcomes. Option One: The end result of the match could leave us excited for our favorite contestant, especially since our top heroes/villains are featured in this rumble. On the other hand, our ‘favorites’ could end up losing leaving us disappointed beyond words and feelings that we wonder ‘Why did this superstar win and not the one we rooted for?’. But even if we do not agree with how the match turns out, this series is a one-and-done operation, and someone has to represent for the upcoming finale. Speaking of representatives, that leaves us with the superstar who ultimately emerged as the winner:
In a battle of the mutants, Magneto would turn out to be the most dominant of them all, securing the win to earn a spot in the champions’ rumble. Magneto has always been a complex figure, fighting for mutant kind yet willing to destroy all of humanity if he was willing and able to (If you’ve read his backstory, you’d understand why). And yet there are times when Magneto is not entirely a villain, as seen in the ’97 Disney+ run when he was made the leader of the X-Men for the time. Magneto has been a growing presence in the community over the years, even proving himself to be a dominant competitor during his SCAW days (And by securing a runner-up spot in a ‘Choose the Superstar’ competition). Magneto beat some pretty noteworthy favorites to secure a place in the finals and one can imagine what it will take for him to win the competition.
But who was my MVP of this heroes versus villains rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the thirty competitors featured in this match, SIXTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations (One star high above the halfway mark). The highest count of the day reached ‘4’ eliminations, which is three points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination.
Since Magneto is the winner, the nominees for the ‘Golden MVP Award’ for ‘coolest’ performance are:
Batman and Thor
Both competitors proved very strong during this match. But if I had to narrow it down to just ‘one’ of these competitors, not just for the elimination count but longevity, I have to go with Batman on this one. Securing himself in the top three of this competition proved how close he was to reaching the finals, and something tells me this isn’t the last we heard of the Dark Knight.
The nominations for the ‘Dull Participation Award’ for ‘lamest’ performance are:
Aquaman
Lex Luthor
Wolverine
Since Wolverine was able to secure an elimination before his departure during the last, it came down between the remaining two competitors featured on the list. If I were to name the one man who proved disappointing during his endeavors overall, I am going to have to go with Aquaman in this one. Considering that the man had been featured in some multi-million-dollar movies, of which attempted to reestablish the man as a prominent name in comic history… this match wasn’t doing the lad any favors.
Fans may not be crazy about how this match ended, but Magneto will indeed be featured in the upcoming champions’ finale. In the meantime, we ask a couple questions: Can another villain secure a place in the final stage? Are there other comic stars seeking to carve a name in their legacy? Can the heroes muster whatever strength they can gather to add some protagonists in the finale match? And the biggest question of them all:
