I just started bouldering because of you!! I just posted a video of me doing my first V3! It was supposed to be a Dyno. I don't quite have the strength for it in my legs yet. So I had to figure out a way to static climb it!

As a trampoline coach / athlete myself I can confirm what Anton said; the tighter you are when entering the trampoline, the more force you get back from it. In the video you often tried jumping like on the ground with bent knees, however that does the opposite of what you want, it just kicks you forward and you lose all the height.
If you ever come around to germany and want a "professional" coaching session for trampolining let me know. There are certainly a bunch of places in germany with amazing coaches that would definitely enjoy teaching you some basics. Unfortunately I don't knopw the people in Norway, else I would happily forward you to them.

Watching you two guys is great. I started watching Magnus during the early days of the pandemic, we've since had a bouldering centre open in my city Exeter (UK) and I started as soon as it opened; probably directly inspired by these videos. I'm now just about reaching V4/V5 after 4 months of practise. Keep up the good work! Inspirational :)
Magnus, your videos are not intended to be funny but they put a smile on my face. You guys are so pure and you bring out the child that's in all of us. I loved the part about the mental challenge of competing. Would be nice to see you and Anton outdoors too.
I feel like I want to keep making multiple comments as I watch. I love the commentary about nerves in a competition. It's true, how the amygdala puts you into fight, making you think it is the end of the world if you mess up. But it really isn't that important. I love that you think about being at a crag with friends afterward. What a great way to keep things in perspective!

I lately started watching what feels like all of your videos and to me your they are both funny and inspirational. I do love that your videos are not meant to be funny every second but you do get a bunch of good laughs out of me everytime still. Also your videos inspire me to practice more often and more regularly as well as I learn quite a bit about technique and how to read boulders etc.! You introduced me much deeper into the world of climbing in so many aspects than I ever thought i would get and I can't wait to see more content.

I think the main thing that Magnus could have done to help his trampoline bounce would have been to do what Anton did and skip the last black block. If you want to carry the speed and power of your run into your bounce you want your last step to be as long as possible. It also makes it a lot easier to stand up (or even be leaning slightly back) on your take off. I wish my area had such a cool place.
Yes that makes sense as i noticed the stuttery feet on the blocks, wondered why.

Honestly, part of what helps Anton always coach well is that he's speaking in a second language - possibly third. He has less word options to use as filler, so he ALWAYS gets to the point. Not knowing English as well as Russian helps his coaching immensely, ironically.

Sidenote: Briefly there was a shot of a wall with images from one of last year's ANW episodes, filmed in Tacoma, WA (USA). I'm originally from Seattle, WA, which is where the Public Market Center sign is. The episodes were actually filmed at theTacoma Dome, which is 33 miles from the Pike Place Market lol. I always thought it was stupid how NBC keeps showing scenes from Seattle when those episodes were actually filmed in Tacoma lol.

Magnus! I really appreciated your commitment to getting the (kind of ridiculous) trampoline to special delivery. For what it's worth, we had a training session with a bunch of elite competitors getting ready for the Vegas finals, and I'd say about 1/2 of them missed that the first time they tried it. Gotta be 100% butt-clenched AND 100% precise -- a lot to ask of a person 🤣! Great job getting it bro 😁
