Hey Chris, thanks for posting all of this. It's great! In the video you mention that your paddle is 280 cm. I can't find anything that long. I looked on the werner site and it looks like 260 is the longest paddle. Where did you get yours?

I’m a bigger guy (6’2” 365lbs), do you think the Frontier 12 is considerably more stable than the Pursuit? I’m looking at those two and the Native Watercraft Slayer 12XC.
I own a pursuit and frontier. Yes the F12 is far more stable, but the pursuit holds its own in that category. Both have a place for me in what water and how I fish those places.
UP96 stability. The pursuit is a faster kayak, but the frontier was a more stable casting platform imho. I mostly fish saltwater flats and mangroves, so I don’t have a ton of moving water to paddle against.
The only reason was to get seat time in the other nucanoe products. I love my pursuit still and use it, I’ve just turned my frontier into my tournament rig for this year with the motor. I plan to get a pivot drive for the pursuit next season though!

I don’t think there is much out there that paddles as well. The Atak 140 is up there and some of the ocean kayak tridents would be too! But the pursuit is more comfortable than the others!

I believe that I had it custom made 4-5 years ago through a local shop. I’d reach out to them!

Stability goes to the frontier and speed goes to the pursuit! Both boats are impressive, but I think I am going to enjoy the frontier a bit more!
Is Frontier 12 good for saltwater fishing?
Alfredo bayaca yes. I use this in the flats around Tampa Bay. Great yak.

I am the same size and my frontier is as stable as the pursuit. I don’t regret getting the 12 vs the pursuit one bit.

One of the nucanoe either a frontier 12 has a 650 pound weight limit and the pursuit is a 13.5 foot boat with 500 pounds
Which seat did you go with?
I ordered this before the fusion seat was available, so this is the pinnacle seat. I plan on getting the fusion seat soon though!
