I tried their web version and it worked well.

I use the web version for everything except screen recording now. It works great!

I have an issue when I want to apply studio sound to certain scenes but not others. I try to select "edit in current scene" instead of all scenes but it seems like when I toggle studio sound on or off it always applies to the whole video. Any tips?

Yes, so Studio Sound is file-wide. Meaning, you can't turn it on in some places and off in others. It's all or nothing.
There are some workarounds but it gets a bit complex. For example, adding a duplicate of the audio as a new layer, muting the script layer where you want it off, then having the raw audio play.
Frustrating I know but hopefully that helps!

@@DescriptMastery Good to know. Thanks! That's frustrating because it works really well certain things, but other times I don't want it. I can try the workaround I guess.

I've noticed it's been pretty bad the last few weeks! I've been using third-party tools to process my audio like Adobe Podcast Enhance and Auphonic. Check them out if Studio Sound isn't cutting it. Both are free to use
