Dexter Gordon's Fried Bananas performed by the Eric Ineke JazzXpress at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam during Eric Ineke's 70th birthday concert. The JazzXpress recorded the tune on their album Dexternity in 2016.
With: Rob van Bavel - piano, Sjoerd Dijkhuizen - tenor sax, Gidon Nunes Vaz - trumpet, Marius Beets - bass, Eric Ineke - drums.

You are talking to the drummer.... Who by the way has one the best sound in this music of anyone playing this music nowadays. Certainly of anyone I've heard in Europe. Thank you Eric! Can't think of anyone I'd rather hear play this music in person right now. And I live in NYC/Philly/Chicago. My company is based in Amsterdam so hopefully I get flown out there one of these days.
