Very bizarre to me that they don't bundle the abyss lore with the master duel set releases. They couldve released Despia and Swordsoul both with their solo mode chapters for the abyss storyline and got people real hyped.

I always imagined Ningirsu thought Auram killed Ib, because he was fighting the knigmares when Ib regained control against Lee, and that's why he was aggressive towards Auram
They definitely need to make a story mode for Albaz

Imagine Fate Apocrypha, but the ending is changed to Fate Grand Order's Orleans chapter.
Albaz and Ecclesia is basically Sieg and Jeanne, with Cartesia being Jeanne Alter.
People already suspicious that Abyss story is somehow based on Fate Apocrypha long before Cartesia is revealed (at least in Reddit, as aside from two main character similarity, they also have "evil church in red faction" as the enemy). The similarity between Cartesia and Jeanne Alter is also not just corrupted saint trope, but both of them also summon bunch of dragon and make a bond with a dragon that is similar to the previous normal self partner, Fafnir (Sieg can turn into Fafnir) in Jeanne Alter case, and that dragon (which similar to one of Albaz dragon) in Rebranded art for Cartesia case.
Kitt will probably save Albaz later just like Astolfo saving Sieg.

@@LS-qs9juTo be fair, there's a lot of similar story trope like that since long ago. But the thing that distinguish each of them are the characters that move their respective story. Albaz is neither sieg, captain america, nor Aang, but they have a true endgame protagonist goal. The church might always depicted as evil in japanese manga or korean manhwa, yet there are still more inside than the surface, there are ecclesia, fleurdelis that later die, and maximus the root of chaos. The point is, let us enjoy the lore details through various card's art that released without underwhelm them as the exact carbon copy from other similiar story.

There is also Aluber and Kitt with her side quest who made the tone of the story much different.

Both Duel Terminal and World Legacy revolves around that.
They really should do a OCG/TCG based Anime in which they tell the stories of those archetypes. Maybe 5-10 episodes per storyline. With that they could adress the more adult TCG fanbase since the regular Anime seems to be a show for kids only nowadays.
the regular anime pale in comparison of how deep the archetypes story really are. they really need to make game / anime based on these archetypes. Theres sky striker manga tho..

Someone has made an animation for Dogmatika lore by the name of COMiMARi and I'm gonna be real with ya, it fucking slaps. Sometimes it gets a little weird but it feels really nice to just watch.
The world legacy lore is one of my favorite stories through any medium, orcust and knightmare remain my favorite archetypes to this day

All that Guardragon stuff, the Dragon Doggo doing his stuff, the archetype crossovers, the World Legacies Monstrosities, Ib resurrecting twice, my god. Wonder if they'll condense it into one solo gate, or they'll divide it in two.
Cards have story to be told. The most favorite tale now is Abyss (Dogmatika Landell), and it's still continue going on until even now. The side story is around Tri -Brigade Kitt and her journey, include Sprite... i mean Spright lore.
I hope there would be a good tale on Visas Starfrost's adventure.
This has to be turned into a anime, the world legacy lore is deep enough to make one sheeesh.

I'm pretty sure that Duel terminal has story span over three generation start at 5d's era(Synchro) with Genex and end on Arc-V(Pendulum) with the last seen Infernoid.
Duel terminal is worse, look at the suffering that kamui hope of gusto had to endure lmao, lost his dad lost his sister then meet his sister again later as an undead.
And don't forget that he (Kamui) has to fight his best friend Falco as a zombie too. At least his daughter (Pilica) doesn't have to go through the same fate... oh Wen

I classified this as a First half of season 2 of World Legacy lore, with the second half we're guaranteed to join force with old allies to fight the greater evil, very JRPG.
Ps. Albaz storyline is still on going. If it ever end I think we'll reach a new era for yugioh.

These stories definitely should be in the game, especially the long, more complex ones, but going through all of this is vay too much. I know its been said many times already but this really should have been an anime instead of text with fancy backgrounds.

Seriously though, it’s a good story, who cares if you have to read it. 90% of the lore in the Souls games comes from reading plain text with no pictures at all and most people love that.

i really hope they make a manga or even an anime adaptation from World Legacy lore, the story is pretty deep and pretty good enough to make one. By far this is my favorite Card/Archetypes Lore in YuGiOh! love it!

There should be at least one or two more chapter of this before the end of the World Legacy lore, and honestly they are my fav in term of lore in yugioh, shiranui is great too
