This is a really good show , so wholesome and enjoyable ❤ but I kind of liked the earlier ones where they lived in the city apartment .

Here’s the short backstory- When the show ended it’s network run, Gertrude Berg ( Molly) took control of it and decided to syndicate The Goldbergs across America- This meant taking the family out of New York City and moving them to the suburbs-A new, fresh start
