My impression of this game as someone who is still relatively new, is that it skews in favor of the more experoenced players and the rest of us must bide our time. A couple of examples of many are the Stage Challenge and PVP. With my 102 OVR team, I can clear the first two SC stages no problem and last week for the first time cleared Stage 3. But, big deal! There are 7 stages left. PVP finally gets rolling again and Im immediately placed against an all Black Diamond team. With Tap Sports Baseball (RIP), matchups were more based on your team strength. Here, it seems everyone gets the same matchups regardless. Anyway, enough about that. Mentor sounds like a huge pain for those who already completed it. Im still trying to figure out if/when I need it Did the 1st level batters and pitchers though. On the positive side, I did get my first Team Sig from that special pack, Blue Jays Fred McGriff, so maybe a Legend in the next year? 😃
Yeah I agree bro and I can relate. Honestly the best time to get mentor done is asap. It isn't as crucial as other things like skills and training but it's best to get finished as quickly as possible.
Even though it does suck to do, it's a must have for pvp, ranked and club. Obviously try to get everything S tier, doesn't have to be a diamond card either. Just need to hit the desired number on that level

Spent 5-6 hours training and seeing which players I could fit in there, was doing it for so long saw you at like 3-4 in the morning opening up these packs
the new mentor is 100% better than the old one. now the top teams with lots of excess players can get all S will be better. also, there is new ABC slots so u can easily change between char/boss/fin nerf super easy. u also do not need stars to reset mentor anymore. My reds deck is also f2p for me. (only 2 sig changes and 2 gi ever bought) got all S tier.
@@AcesShadows didn't stop me and my 21 teams. Though to be fair 19 of them are in my penalts club which I purposely Min/Max to keep the OVR under 100 for easy matchups. Currently 71st in Club Power Ranking. So I'm fine with just piecemealing things with C or B levels and as I go along I'll improve it here and there.
You hit the nail on the head with mentor. They’re making things so much more complicated. I play this game for fun as well and I really don’t want to have to put in that kind of time and effort into filling out mentor properly. As for My FA, I’ve grabbed THREE team primes for my Mets teams since they updated it and have rarely seen any on my Yankees account, so go figure. Thanks for not sugar coating your feelings on this.

The game is supposed to be fun and I think they're just making it more of a hassle than a fun game to play. Although, that may be just because I have soo many accounts. Regardless I still feel bad for the newer players. The game is soo complicated for them already and if com2 keeps adding more, it's only gonna get worse.
PIT Adam Frazier '21 is the only noteworthy pirate allstar card in my opinion (one of those cases where he was traded at the allstar break to padres and its his best year technically). Would be a cool get.
Might just be getting unlucky, I have two teams, each have had 1-2 primes the past two days. As for mentor I would agree, definitely making the higher up teams better but it's something that keeps those players in the game. Not much to do once your team in 125+ with skills and sigs. I have one pay to win, 126 OVR and a F2P 116 OVR, much more fun playing on my free team but the new mentor gives my pay to win team something to do
Love the content man, I appreciate the passion. I have 3 accounts on 3 devices lol. Do you use different devices or just log in differently on same device? F2P here and wish standard player combos had better odds at something interesting. Wish they would sprinkle in a chance at a signature card or even all-star, because they are usually bad class of card. Anyway look forward to watching more videos. :)
Thanks bro and I use an emulator called bluestacks on my computer to run all my teams. Sometimes I just use my phone but it eats up a lot of my battery life.

The new mentor is terrible. Getting players that meet the S tier is nearly impossible. I blew through 1100 premium packs, 80 ultimates and 50 diamonds and still didn’t get it finished.

At the beginning of each month com2 does the check in event. It only lasts for the first seven days that you login during that month.
I'm being serious I get these diamond primes all the time in my free agent market. No team primes yet but I get one to two a week honestly.
