Sr. Josefa relates: "His Wounds," she write "were open and from them issued flames. In one hand He carried the Crown of Thorns and the Nails; with the other He held up His Cross.
" 'Josefa are you willing to listen to My desires: See My Wounds! O! that I could draw in all sinners!
" 'Yes, into these Wounds many sinners must be drawn this night. . . .
Take My Cross, My Crown and the Nails . .. I go in search if sinners and I shall enlighten them when they are on the point of falling into the bottomless pit, that they may find their way home.
" 'Take My Cross; guard it well. . . .you know that it is a great treasure.'
"At that same moment," she wrote, "I felt the heavy weight of the Cross on my shoulder.
" 'My Crown,' and He pressed it down upon my head. "I crown you Myself, and the wounds caused by it thorns will obtain enlightenment for bling souls.
" 'Take , too, the Nails. . . . See how I trust you; but then you are My well beloved, so I have no fear in confiding them to your care. I know they will be safe.

" 'And now I go in search of souls, for I want them all to know and love Me!'

" 'I cannot any longer restrain My love for them . . . love so strong must triumph over their callousness. O Yes they must love Me! I want to be their King. Let us draw them all into My Wounds. . . . I go in search of them, and when I have found them, I will return and take back My Cross. Suffer for Me, Josefa . . . but wait, before I go, let Me sink the arrow of purifying love into you . . . for pure you must be, like all who are My victims.'
The same flame issued from His Heart as on previous evenings; then I saw only His Sacred Heart, till gradually all faded away."
A Prayer:
"Oh suffering Lord Jesus Christ, may we also have this purifying arrow to be able to serve and love You with all our hearts. Keep us all from the connotations and corruption and deceits of this world, with unlimited purity of intention in building up Your Father's Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven...in caring for souls - being on fire for their conversion and salvation.
Give us the Graces dear Savior Jesus Christ to be All that you so desire us to Be! Show us best how to win souls for You! Give us this Divine Thirst for their salvation! Holy Spirit guide us! Posses us to Do the will of the Father! Mold us, use us. . . . Let us be another Jesus Christ to this world! ~ See the sincerity in our souls to be All that God Wants us to be!
