Promoting gambling websites for kids is MUCH MUCH worse than swearing though. Gambling addiction is a real thing and can ruin someone's life. Kids and teens are also at a MUCH higher risk of becoming addicted based on how evolved their brains are at that stage in their life. They are also less likely to "know what they're risking" and more prone to simply trust the "influencer" without questioning and reflecting on risks and consequences.
This comment is 6 months old but I’m still gonna add it on. Kids are really easily influenced at that age, and it gets harder to change their mindsets/habits when they grow-up (because that’s what they’re often exposed to since young). A kid who has serious gambling addiction can get expelled by school/perform poorly academic wise, which just ruins his/her future as a whole, then there’s his/her family that gets wrapped into this cause the kid would often either “ask for money” or steal it just to keep up such addictions, which can really put their family into a financial crisis if the parents are too soft on the kid. Overall, youtube should really do something about this issue (like deleting the videos or demonitize it), otherwise these TH-camrs won’t learn shit.
Wild bacon I don’t see why parents shouldn’t invest in a good pc for their kids. My daughter is 7 years old and I’m willing to buy her the best build of the market for her 10th anniversary. Not to play, or to watch fucking Jake Paul or whatever but to teach her how a computer works. To teach her my passion of development (starting off with server-client communication and sockets) and to help her understand how important the value of knowledge is. It ain’t about entertainment. Our generation was always on the tv and we never got any issue in life. It’s about what else you do beside entertaining yourself. Sure, parents should let their kids do what they want in their spare time but they should also force them to do productive shits (homework/school, cleaning the house, sports/extra school activities, developing their interests and their hobbies etc.). That’s the key of good parenting.

this is exactly why Pewdiepie is still doing good considering the amount of years he has been in the industry. He is wise enough to do what he wants and also wise enough to what he should not do for the sake of his viewers and fan base. Promoting gambling websites for kids is MUCH MUCH worse than swearing though. Gambling addiction is a real thing and can ruin someone's life. Kids and teens are also at a MUCH higher risk of becoming addicted based on how evolved their brains are at that stage in their life. They are also less likely to "know what they're risking" and more prone to simply trust the "influencer" without questioning and reflecting on risks and consequences.

This comment is 6 months old but I’m still gonna add it on.
Kids are really easily influenced at that age, and it gets harder to change their mindsets/habits when they grow-up (because that’s what they’re often exposed to since young). A kid who has serious gambling addiction can get expelled by school/perform poorly academic wise, which just ruins his/her future as a whole, then there’s his/her family that gets wrapped into this cause the kid would often either “ask for money” or steal it just to keep up such addictions, which can really put their family into a financial crisis if the parents are too soft on the kid. Overall, youtube should really do something about this issue (like deleting the videos or demonitize it), otherwise these TH-camrs won’t learn shit.

I don’t see why parents shouldn’t invest in a good pc for their kids.
My daughter is 7 years old and I’m willing to buy her the best build of the market for her 10th anniversary. Not to play, or to watch fucking Jake Paul or whatever but to teach her how a computer works.
To teach her my passion of development (starting off with server-client communication and sockets) and to help her understand how important the value of knowledge is.
It ain’t about entertainment. Our generation was always on the tv and we never got any issue in life.
It’s about what else you do beside entertaining yourself.
Sure, parents should let their kids do what they want in their spare time but they should also force them to do productive shits (homework/school, cleaning the house, sports/extra school activities, developing their interests and their hobbies etc.).
That’s the key of good parenting.
