The Spirit provides freedom from the mastery of sin and freedom to joyfully be mastered
by Jesus. The Spirit breaks the bondage to sin and not only puts in us the desire to follow
Jesus but empowers us to follow Jesus (Philippians 2:13). Being filled with the Holy Spirit
“will result in feeling what God feels, desiring what God desires, [and] doing what God
