Hi Adrion. I think the reason you feel this way about Skeletor is because you've got the Filmation version of the character in your mind. Mattel's version of the character was a more tough, physically capable warrior who in my mind, when thinking of the "Mattel Skeletor" really would carry a dragon on his back. Come on, It wouldn't be all day. Just when it's time for battle. ;)
Back then ppl walk around with venom spitting dragon on their back. These days ppl walk around with pooping cat-sized dog. Things haven't changed much. One of my favorite version of skeketor.
I bought this figure a few days ago, but it was missing chain but still like the figures and good video would have liked to c u put some water in it tho and tried it is there reason why u didn't 👍😎
i just whatched your masters of the universe skeletor i realy enjoyed it .I think i actually remember this figure joe nerd 11 .So you take care & keep up the good videos .I enjoy classic videos.Well sighning off for know so you take (chefy)
Hello Mr JoeNerd, I have I question; could it be that they produced that basic skeletor figure with the remolded legs/ bigger feet/ heelspikes first for the 1984 Skeletor "the original" figure? I've noticed this while looking at some pictures at He-man.org. I've also a Skeletor armour which is different in colour than the first 1981 Skeletor armour, way more darker blue & I think that it was produced for the 1984 Skeletor "the original" figure.
Well, if you listen carefully I do explain the situation with the loin cloth. As for the havoc staff ... I honestly think the Mattel designers felt that this version of Skeletor didn't need it.

I actually like this figure, but it would have been better if they also included the original Skeletor armour with the whole packaging, so we could be able to swich it.

Ha!Seeing you take Dragon Blaster Skeletor outta the box reminded me of the scene from TOY STORY 2 where "Stnky" Pete comes out to reveal himself as the bad guy and Jessie says "Prospector?'! and Woody adds "You're outta your box!.Ha!I love that scene.

Funny thing is that I've known about that vintage "the original" figure for some time, but it never intersted me enough to bother with checking it out on .org! I tell ya, I just now did only to find out that you're absolutely right! I would bet that vintage "the original" He-Man also has the legs with bigger feet that Mattel used for Thunder Punch, and Spikor. It's hard to tell though, as .org only has pics of "the original" He-Man carded.
Oh yeah, I renewed my sub. I'm hopeful that Scott N. is exaggerating a little about the lack of "day of" sales. I know that just one Jitsu is NOT enough for me!

I always loved this figure and it's concept, but always had a hard time believing that Skeletor would labor around piggybacking a dragon all day.

This figure complete loose is expensive these days seen it sell for £90 clean and complete
