Great Job Brian and im very pleased i found your channel which will be very useful for my project. I just bought a 1950 BSA B31 S with a B33 engine which is unusual i believe. it was tuned into a scrambler and is a barn find. its in a hell of a state but dooable. You mentioed soemone who did wheels i think Alan Atkin - are you able to provide contact details ? Many thanks Andy
@@gb_engineer Andy, thanks for the comment, always appreciated. Alan Atkinson is the wheel builder near Formby, his number is 07719 662007. Good luck with your restoration. Cheers Brian
When anealing copper i thot it was heat then cool in water ?thos acorn nuts look very good. I bet back in the day if people could aford get s/steel nuts they def would have used them as an up grade to ther bike if used all year round
Gerald, Thanks for the comments always welcome. Your probably right about the washers, iv'e watched quite a few guys on YT who do quench in water and some dont. I might do some more and see which turn out the best, ie soft. TH-cam is great for sharing knowledge and thanks again for doing that. Cheers Brian
Great job , the end result is very good and definitely adds that look of quality to the overall build. 👍👍
Glad you like it
