Revolutionaries w/Sly + Robbie steppers circa 1978-80. That wicked bass lick is similar to I-Roy's 'Set the Captives Free/Devil's Bug/Bubbling Jug' from the same time period. This version seems to be a fairly generic Channel One dub mix, but the thunderous Tubby's studio version with the louder kick drum mixed by Jammy (reissued recently on the Iroko 12 incher w black Thompson Sound label) is much better, heavier. It's Tubby's spring reverb on the one drop that does it.
