Ivys & Rarities - Nostalgic Life (2024)

Tonight, I have chosen to release something a little more personalized. I originally created this single as a solo effort, wanting to top another sampling hit ontop of my already expansive, risk-taking and (sometimes unoriginally) booming discography. It was going to just be a single, on it's own, possibly made to tease for a future collab or for something else.
Then I learnt that on this day, August 16th, is the birthday of Elapsed, somebody who has an extended connection with our time. We decided to not pass on the opportunity to offer him a single, and we decided to surprise drop a song with his verse, for completely free.
This is Rarity and I's second single for our upcoming mixtape, Louie & The Crash. Thanks to everybody involved, including Narrator for providing album art for this single, as well as various people in our circle that have helped provide production and other suggestions to the song.
