Quick how-to terminate tutorial. Same practice when terminating SSF - SC connectors, but they are much larger.

You should put the boot on first, once you cut the fiber, you dont want it touching anything unnecessarily.

Multimode! Aqua signifies multimode OM3! Yellow would signify singlemode!

This is a good video if you don't have the necessary tools for termination while on the field... But please use the right tools for the right job... Don't use your nails.
