I recently had a court date... on the court house doors it says if you are experiencing covid like symptoms do not enter building so I sent an email to the clerk of courts saying I had covid symptoms a few days go by and I call to see when was my new scheduled court date... I get info saying I had a bench warrant.... its a misdemeanor case
You’re better off leaving the US with your high school diploma. Why stay in america making $10/hr & sleep in your car when you can take your diploma and get tefl certification in S Korea or Japan?

I have showed up to all courts and i went to the dmv today to get my license and they said i have a “ FTA” failure to appear how on earth is this even possible? i am very up to date with these things and i have not missed a single court, can someone help me ? i am going to see the court tomorrow to try to resolve this,
@@tumbapuertas9232 i got help bro, they said because i showed up to the clerks office and asked about my FTA they were able to give me a new court date, but they told me if i failed to show up for that court then foresure i would be arrested, mine was for 2 dui’s but i managed to reduce both of them to reckless driving 🤙🏼

@@johnstarks8831 hey bro try to relax as much as possible, when i went to court n shit they were trying to charge me with 2 dui’s and i was like holy shit, but luckily my public attorney helped me out as i wasnt under the influence and didnt have anything in the car, so first step is go to the courts clerks office and tell them about the case and if you can set up a new court date, once given that date you MUST show up or charges and everthkng will be far worse,BUT on the bright side once you show up and the judge sees you and calls your name she/he will state what you are charged with (but dont worry that does not mean you are guilty) and then she/he will clear your bench/arrest warrant and it will be cleared (automatically cleared, unless you do not show up to the rest of courts) then she will assign you a public attorney (lawyer) and a new court date, so you have time to discuss with your attorney your side of the story and come up with a defense for the next court, you must remain firm and say what you need to say with firmness say what you need to say with confidence and try not to sound too anxious or nervous as that can make them think you may be hiding something, the attorney might even try to play mind games with you to test your integrity and say things along the lines of “ this stays between me and you only be honest with me how many drinks did you have? or how drunk do you think you are ? or how many hits did you take ? “ but dont let those questions intimidate you of put fear in you remain firm and answer with confidence see, you got this bro i know you will get through this and everything will be okay even if things are a bit dark and cloudy rn you got this man !

Because, I literally lost track of what day it was from working my new job, and having car trouble that kept me out the night before after working from 630 am, to 7pm, the guy I rode with that day had car trouble/out of gas, and we went and walked to the gas station and bought a tall coffee mug full of gas to be able to drive to the store 1 minute away by car.. but it only would allow the car to start.. whenever he tried to accelerate it wouldn't drive, so I had to have my brother come get me and didn't get home till late, about 10-10:30 I went to sleep and just forgot about what day it was as I was so exhausted. Under NC law it allows for a "re-call".* I'm not an attorney.* * This is not legal advice.* I believe this info is hidden by lawyer's, and bail bondsman too. As it will reduce there easy income when people find out. Now knowing "they" could do their self. They would likely at least try, but it has nothing to do with try... You just do it. It is your best option when a unforeseeable reason like, stated above in this comments causes a missed misdemeanor court date. If you missed due to the inability to get there.... On the later, the defendant should he have called the court to be forthright, and have legitimate reason... It will help 110%. It makes you not appear as a flight risk, or trying to avoid it. If I was a judge, and a defendant missed his court date, but called apologetically, and could articulate a legitimate reason why he was unable to attend... I would reschedule his New court date. If he has long time family and friends of his accompany him, that will impress better than if he appears to be a loner, and no family, or friend, even cares about them enough to go along with them... so i got taken into l.a. county three day later i got release to i.n.s after 3 hours i.n.s release and didnt recieve any court or charge paper, so i move out to another state, now after 9-10 years i just found out i have a warrant and failure to appeal. is that my fault? the charge was petty theft it was M now since they charge the failure to appear now its felony .. is all that is my false for not show up in court because they dont give no date or charge paper, they even lost my belonging, i got release with no property which i came in with.
Possibly u can go str8 to the yard. Switch it up and move to a town outside of the county the warrant is issued from. Then stay low. Stay out of the way, don't let anyone know u have a warrant, and don't get stopped by 12 for any reason whatsoever! If u do, the warrant is gonna pop up and they're gonna take u in to face the warrant anyway. The judge could give you probation if he's in a super good mood, but if not, since it's a felony, u gonna haft serve some time. But ur good if u don't get into any trouble that involves 12. But definitely change everything up, get a new spot to lay ur head, and probably ur job too if it's in the county where you caught the charge. Good luck too fam. U got this

Where does the "judge" derive his authority? Those are legislative courts, not Judicial ones. Seems we have a separation of powers issue here, that you and the rest of your lying, criminal partners/colleagues have failed to mention.
What if your the victim and the victim failed to appear in court ? Will they issue a bench warrant for the victim ( the victim doesn’t wants to press charges)

False. They don't issue arrest warrants for non arrestable traffic affences. Probly cuz they don't want to get sued.
