There are many choices in disinfectant spray. Clippercide, Barbicide, Cool Care and H-42 just to name a few. Most are available at your local beauty supply store.
Learned something new. I use the Andis T outliners 2 shear my head. They don't get it squeeky clean like going against the grain with a razor though. I prefer 'no stubbles'. I'm going 2 have 2 try this. I can use a razor going against the grain and won't bump up. I just can't go against the grain on the nape of my neck. I go with it on the nape.

Yep, the only thing I can use that will make my head look mostly bald is the T outliner. Everything else I tried gave me ingrown hairs. It's very annoying.

I would have loved to hear more about the anti-bump process. I've had a beard for years that I don't want because I can't seem to prevent razor bumps. On top of that I'm going to go the bald route soon. Gathering info for the big cut.

OMG What does she use to dry shave not the clippers the second shaver. Im' half black and filipino and my hair is thick and recently shaved my head with a razor cause i was diagnosed with alopecia areata and well my skin so sensitive to everything that i break out in razor bumps and burns. I use to have a electric shaver much like the one you use but mine become dull after 3months. It was the only time i never got razor bumps. The doctors messed up my head with injection shots that left me with little dents on my head that remain there from 3 years ago, bald is my only option because patchy bald spots is apparently not popular.....who knew

Razors are flat, heads are round. Best way to shave your head, (or face) a Phillips, Norelco shaver.
