Can you share the preset or are you using default settings?
I tried special k to tweak the hdr but unfortunately since the game doesn’t have any native hdr support it breaks the color gamut
the main thing is Mash listened to his community! dropped the ridiculous price and is working on fixing existing issues and adding to this project!

@@georgeclarke8770I agree it’s worth every penny the bugs are actually pretty minor for a small dev team and the game has Tons of potential I paid full price and don’t feel ripped off even in the slightest bit
no actually I wouldn't! I've given Mash more leeway considering he's not got as many recources as a triple A studio! :)
..but the point is no matter if you're an indie dev or a triple A studio then there's still no excuse for grame breaking bugs; and Mash knew that because otherwise he wouldn't have dropped the price would he! :)
Been playing since yesterday and - while I have some OPINIONS about the game's world design - I basically can't wait for after dinner, kids in bed!

@@TekuFlat wouldnt say last chance unless you dont plan on playing skate 4 on your channel, since that gonna be arguably the most non niche/largest player base on release of all these games.
It’s so good when you get used to the controls mods will make it even better
for anybody who, like me, was having a lot of problems with manual balance, you can change the stick response curve in steam's controller settings. it also makes turning in manuals a bit easier. its less touchy. even with the tweaks to manual balance, i recommend doing this anyway at least for the right stick because it really does help. i set mine to reduced on both sticks.

The only 3 things I wanna see changed in this game are 1.I’d like an option to be able to control the riders body with the right stick and steer with the left stick so he didn’t look so stiff when riding (no diddy) 2.I’d like to be able to do bar spins in a manual and be able to go from back tire to front tire while spinning without a hitch on pipe you could on this game it’s wonky. And a trick editor or multiple trick layout options because this is not enough tricks at all maybe a pipe input layout in the setting to switch back an forth? Idk… but to every person complaining about the map. If you don’t see the spots EVERYwhere you either never skated rode bmx or ever watched any action sports in yo life cuz this map is beautiful.
The game looks awesome actually. Don’t know why there’s so much hate? Ofcourse it’s not perfect and it’s a bit of a rough version but hey mash won’t give up on us, no way!🤙🏻

My opinions today are far from my day 1 opinions (though I was enjoying it from the get-go).
I see this game as a physics sandbox. You create an idea, and from there you manipulate the physics until it looks exactly as you imagined. If you want to spam some crazy tricks, great! If you want to make lines that look as close to real life as possible, that’s great too!
One you get things right, the results are great, just don’t expect to get it right first time. I can spend hours trying to hit a single line and I’m over the moon when it finally looks clean. Love it!

Finally got to play it last night, after years of pipe I gotta say I’m loving the game so far
Why are all the controls sound and look so difficult are they not like pipe controls
the controls themselves are the exact same as pipe, some just have additional inputs though but the base layout of the controls are like pipe.

Awesome stuff Teku! The game is already shaping up to be an actual half decent game! Can't wait to see what else you come up with in the game!
With the tooth picks grind I was the same initially (trying to push the left stick right to keep it straight) but it makes sense pushing left as it goes with the way you rotate (back end swings right but means you are trying to spin left) if you want to do a tooth hanger back ends needs to swing out right, so steering left as if you are rotating almost doing a 180 to the left (based on right foot forward riders irl anyway, most of them spin to their left)
Yeah, I need to train my mind to think about it like steering rather than balance, still do the opposite sometimes lol
I'm pretty sure anybody mad about the price change could've just refunded and rebought it, steam's usually pretty good about that kind of thing, but might be too late now...
Or don't buy it in the first place if the price was too much for you. EVERY game goes on sale.
If people played right from the moment it dropped, and up until after the price reduction, they probably couldnt refund. If im not mistaken I think you have to play less than 2 hours of the game for steam to refund.

do we know if the different parts affect the bike physics? eg shorter offset forks making nose manuals and turning differet. thats something i was really looking forward to but havent noticed yet

4 hrs in and i must say its miles ahead of the initial release, my only complaint is my player just randomly locks into a nose manuals

@5:00 Teku the reason the mouse didnt work for the teleporter mod is because the Old unlock all mod locked the cursor when the button wasnt visible.
I updated the mod to not do this anymore, also you dont even need to press a button anymore, itll automatically unlock everything and give you 999999 stars.
The peg mod also locks the cursor

Unlock all can be found in the Volution Discord server, reshade can be found with a Google search and is just installed like a normal program, works the same for any game.

It's getting better, but still feels like a WIP in some ways...I would say by the time the console release comes out it will be in its most "complete" form, we just don't know when that will be
i think the mission would be better if it showed you the trick inputs for the tricks its asking you to do. OR if you could even access the trick list from inside the mission. Instead of exiting the mission the check the trick list.

Instead of using the triggers to do a side hop, flick the stick up and to the left or right and you'll do a lil side hop.

yeah the transition assist is really smooth, but the transition spin assist is a tiny bit too strong imo
Yeah, I kind of wish there was a button combo/toggle so you can activate/deactivate as you ride around
started playing a couple days ago and was struggling`at first but when you start learning how to play and get tricks right everything is satisfying!

Up to 4 players for now, just a basic ride together type of thing without any additional modes (mods may up the server max number of players in the future)
game is borderline playable if you’re just trying to have fun and doing tricks however the challenges are GOD AWFUL and resulted in a broken controller for me lol. they are so poorly designed and stupid they don’t even make sense. it almost feels like they had AI generate some of them im not even kidding. backflip to tooth on a rainbow rail mega ramp??? seriously in what universe does that even look cool. what about that challenge where you have to nose manual across the pond with the absolute worst run up imaginable??? i’m still not even sure how you’re supposed to complete that and make it look proper also you’re supposed to 360 at some point??? even though it’s literally not possible to 360 out of a nose manual on flat because if you turn the slightest amount the bitch just pivots around at the speed of light and then it registers as a “fakie 180” it’s just extremely unbelievable to me that anyone play tested the missions and then had the audacity to slap a $40 price tag on it. truly kind of disgusting behavior i really regret giving it a second chance and blowing my steam refund. i’ve never refunded a game in my life but this definitely would’ve been the first if it let me.
Yeah, if I'm honest the challenges do nothing for me, I just want everything unlocked so I can go make my own fun (the unlock all mod does that)

is there any inputs for tire ride,like i try to do tuck up before i hit the pipe but it dosent work for some reason,im trying to do the challange with thr 45m pipe ride,i go straight at it and tuck up but it just goes into grinds...

Finally got to play it last night, I think this game rules!
Nose grinds work that way because you want his back end to move the opposite direction of his spin. Think of hanger 180s, if im spinning left out of a hanger on my right side peg my back end goes to the right over the obstacle im grinding.
Yeah, it makes sense, just hard to train your brain to not instinctively go the other way lol

I have most of the settings maxed out, no graphics mods yet as far as I know!
Trying to 180 on to rails seems janky still imo, He either jumps over the rail or the front tire bonks off or he’ll just jank down the rail, think im still doing something wrong tho coz other people seem to be able to do them really steezy
I think a lot of the 180 stuff is still pretty hard, like its hard to really get anything consistent right now (unless its a practice thing)
Watched many of your videos. Although I'm not really a bmx guy, you have insane style and flow. I loved your session series and that one playground session video blew me away. So i got motivated and bought session myself, all thanks to you. Maybe one day I'll get to bmx too.. much love

@@Nitroh- nothing is open except the game but i was playing on ultra then switched to high now im on low and its still laggy but its only when i get on the bike and start pedalling
@@thehottestaround Hmm, not sure, could be the game might have optimisation issues with your hardware still, I don't know. I play on ultra at 150 frames with a 3070 so I haven't experienced any sort of lag or anything like that.

As a skater IRL, I always love any of these type of games, have 100+ hours in Session and XL, and this game is so much fun, the first 3 hours were really rough tho (just like Session lol). The changes have been great. Slowly getting better at it, sometimes there are so many inputs you have to do especially if you want to do a flair + whip or something. I wish mash could add an option to flip without having to use LT. I'm getting used to it, but rather just use the stick.
Also this game would really benefit from a pin dropper like XL, Session

I would be thankfull if Pipe get a new map until Streets is on Console. Couple years now with Just 4 Maps, Its getting boring. 2000+ hrs btw, done everything on the maps now.
Unlock all mod would be nice,coz I really dont like the cone missions lol so maybe thier will be a mod so I can only unlock the cone missions and leave the other missions so I can still do the ones I find fun
All I see whenever I watch anyone play it is that shitty bmx the game, the animations are almost exactly the same! And the way the pegs land on rails looks really bad! As soon as all that’s sorted then I think I’ll buy the game again
