1. Oven dry aggregate passing 12.5mm IS sieve and retained on 10mm IS sieve are selected for the test. 2. The cylindrical measure is filled by the sample aggregates in three layers approximately equal depth and each layer being tamped 25 times by the rounded end of the tamping rod. 3. After tamping the third layer, the top surface is leveled using the tamping rod as straight edge. The test sample thus takes weight as W1 gms. 4. The cup of the test apparatus is placed in position on the base plate, the test sample is transferred into the cylinder in single layer being tamped 25 times and the surface of the aggregate is leveled. 5. The hammer is raised until its lower face is 38mm above the upper surface of the aggregate in the cup, and allowed to fall freely on aggregates for 15 times at an interval of one second. 6. The crushed aggregate is then removed from the cup and the whole of it is sieve on the 2.36mm IS sieve until no further significant amount passes. The fraction passing the sieve is weighed accurate to 0.1gm. and noted as W2 gm.
Sir your video is very good. I learn aggregate crushing , impact value. But i cant find the loss angles abrasion value of coarse aggregate. Plzz suggest

Sumit raj s nice videos sir
Love you sir, your video is very helpful sir.
Apparatus
1. Weighting Machine
2. Pan
3. Tamping Rod of 10 mm
4. Calibrating Cylinder
5. Impact Mould
6. Sieve of 12 mm
7. Sieve of 10 mm
Sir thanks aggregate impact value
And aggregate crushed value which one the pest practical for road traffic impact
Bahuth zbrdsth
Best quality video sir.
Very well explained thumbs up brother
Thank you sir such a nice explanation
Because
You take the sample from practical field
This video is really helpfull....
Thank you sir explained very nicely
Thank you
Sir it is good but you don't mention the dimensions and hight of the 15 blow's is not mentioned hight don't rept the sir
Sir so good explanation upload more videos on ce lab
nyc vedio sir....thank you
What is the relationship between impact value and toughness I mean what will happen to aggregate if impact value is high or low???
If impact value is high ....it show the weak toughness for pavement surface....it can't use in construction work!!!
Why we take 10mm only
Because 10mm is better to use in pavement surface
Tell me the is codes
BS812 part 112
Upload los angel test
Very nice sir
Sir,please off the fan for more accurate weight reading
Good sir
Jazakallah
Which is code???

Thank you sir...
